Very poor customer service. I called on a Monday for questions. No returned phone call. I then followed back up on Friday and was directed to go to the website to an application, which was not there.I then called BMO in Louisville and they brought me in, talked to me about different options and we made a collective decision which felt right.It was a night and day difference in customer service.

Great staff. Went there with mom to set up savings account on a Saturday. She didn't speak English and one of the tellers was able to explain everything in Spanish, I didn't even really need to be there. The other one set up the account and the other was just cute with a nice peach. Would recommend to a friend.

I was looking to cash out some savings bonds and was told by a banker here that if I signed up for a checking account they would cash out the bonds into that account immediately. We went through the entire account creation process, and once we are done it turns out the guy did not know what he was talking about and said it would be a 1 year waiting period before the bonds could be cashed out. I asked him to cancel the account for me, he never did and I had to take it up with another branch. As if this wasn't enough of a headache, he went ahead and sealed the bonds with a Bank of the West seal, so now no other banks will touch them. Completely ridiculous, do not waste your time here if you want bankers who you can trust know what they are doing.

I love this Bank of the West Branch! The tellers are always so friendly and pleasant, and greet you with a smile. They are happy to assist customers too. They go out of the way to help customers also.

I worked with a man by the name of Chris, can't remember his last name, but he was very helpful in getting me a lien release letter for my RV title, followed through and I received it a week letter in the mail. Super job!

Signed up with this bank because they were located across the street from my apartment. Friendly bank staff but their policies/procedures made it a very frustrating experience throughout my time banking with them.It took 2 months for my first debit card to get me, and their ATM was non-functional multiple times when I would need it. When it came time that my card expired, nobody ensured that I had a new debit card before cutting off access. I was then without a card for another 3 weeks while waiting for them to get a new card to me (after multiple long calls to their help-line).They were unable/unwilling to do a wire transfer while I was located out of state, even though it should be easy enough to verify identity over the phone with a few simple questions.Overall it did not feel like this bank cared if you had access to your money or not. Not recommended.

Been banking with these folks since the early 90's when they were commercial federal. Always Super Polite, Knowledgeable, Friendly and willing to go above and beyond.

can't get a simple account set up correctly. When fraudulent charges are incurred they can't even get that straight. Save yourself DO NOT USE THIS BANK!!!!!!

I went to Bank of the West to redo our mortgage and get rid of PMI, after providing our credit (which is above average), houses for sale in our neighborhood and discussed with David Short (loan officer) that we wanted to get a HELOC or a 2nd, he "assured us" we would be able to do the deal. $700 later on the appraisal, he could not get the job done. Now when we tried to get out of debt, he added another $700 to our credit. DON'T GO THERE FOR A MORTGAGE LOAN, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Zero stars was not an option, or I would have chosen it.

I had a checking account for 19 years and savings for 3. Never had any issues. Had to close my accounts since I'm moving East (out of state), the process literally took 10 minutes, no hassle, and they did NOT charge me for the final cashier's check. Great service!
