I'm not sure where the Fuego comes from because the sign clearly says Attic Salt. It's a nice novelty store, similar to hot topics, and the Hallmark stores but on a smaller scale. They have lots of toys and knick knacks. Some funny, whole some sarcastically humorous. Staff is great, generally focusing on transactions but often asking how people are doing. Well worth the drop-in.

My daughter went in this store and my tired feet sat on the couches outside. She’s 11. Innocent and sweet. The salespeople forced my daughter to open up her backpack and accused her of stealing.
She had her wallet with money and was so excited to be in this store.
After spending tons of money at this store in the past- I’ll never return.
Much like another commenter- they like to profile shoppers.

Customer service is great sometimes, but the managers are really unpleasant. Mean to each other and mean to customers.

I used to love this store but had the most disgusting experience at this store today, 8/23/24 around 530pm.
I am a black woman and was with my sister going to check out what was new in stock, I have brought from the store often in the past but haven’t been to the mall recently and this seemed to be a different employee or a new one? We were greeted and asked if we need help with anything, we said no we were just browsing. We were the only customers in the store and were chatting about the items while in the store. The store employee kept looking at us and I brushed it off and continued looking. We didn’t have other bags and were eating pretzels so it’s not like we were walking around with merchandise, I like to look before choosing. While we were still the only people in the store she suddenly got up and started to follow us around the store (NOTE she was putting up merch or something literally just walking in circles watching us/following us) I was thinking about just leaving the store and not shopping but there were a couple of items I wanted. I finished shopping and some other (non black) customers came in. My sister and I stood outside the shop briefly to see if they would get the same treatment but shocker they didn’t
I will be contacting the company directly later but honestly you guys need to do better. Don’t treat your customers as criminals. Unless there is different staff I will not be shopping there again

Super cute store. worst costumer severice. I asked if they did gift wrapping and the manager snapped at me and scoffed while I walked away. Won’t be coming back.

Bought a holiday sweater... two hours later I found out I bought the wrong size for a gift... I chose to save paper and not receive solicitations via email and no receipt... 2 hours later I was unable to return my purchase because I chose to not have a receipt. I presented the card I paid for purchase with 2 hours prior... and was told by a manager who seemed confused... that I could not return the item. When asking to clarify return policy he seemed confused if the policy's differed from a printed receipt versus no receipt. This was not made clear when I purchased item... and I've worked in hospitality and retail my whole life and never seen anything like this. Unbelievable. Will never shop there again and maybe you shouldn't. Zero stars if that were an option.

When I was a teen me and my stepmom would go there so much! I loved it so much... then the name changed and so did the environment. Attic Salt wiped away all the memories I had there. I was in shock. The employees were all nice but they changed my perspective. To me it used to be a fun shop, now it is just a... punky, bad, teen vibe. It has cool stuff I must admit. I want to know though...where did Fuego go?

Would give less than a star if I could. Bought 2 expensive items for my daughter to try. I asked if they could be returned if she couldn’t use them and was told yes. Just brought them back with all tags on them and the receipts to be told they weren’t returnable. After quite some time, she agreed to the return because of “misinformation”, But she tried to only refund one. This was a terrible, inexcusable, over 1 hour long experience. If you shop at Attic Salt, make sure you get refund policy on your purchase in writing with the name of your salesperson!!!!!
