I just looked at this website for the first time in a few years. Beware ... I believed the charming owner when she said she was taking my excess big items for auction and consignment. I had written lists of all items. When she lost hers I gave her a copy ... I was eventually sent a tiny check of under $40, I did not cash it. Shame on you, Luann!

PeopleHelpers Ltd. provided us with an incredible team to pack and move our dear aunt from one assisted living residence to another. As well, their team moved some of the furnishings that would not fit at the new assisted living residence to our home in Erie. LuAnn, Richard, Matt, and Eric were conscientious, friendly, careful, and well-equipped to execute this 2-part move (one that required white-glove attention to artwork and a family heirloom-antique, a combination clock and time-punch that was used in the family business nearly a hundred years ago!). The suite of furniture that our aunt has loved throughout her 43-year marriage and the marriage 6 years beyond our uncle's passing arrived in perfect condition. This team carefully wrapped and secured our aunt's porcelain treasures and everything arrived just as it had been at her previous residence. There was a LOT of heavy lifting required, and Richard, Matt, and Eric demonstrated athletic strength and endurance in safely lifting and moving some very heavy furniture and beds! Their exemplary customer service is highly recommended, the company's pricing is very fair, and I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend with this 5-star review PeopleHelpers Ltd. Thank you and kudos, LuAnn, Richard, Matt, and Eric! You made a very stressful time a very positive experience!

People Helpers just helped me move my folks out of their apartment and they were wonderful. They had a great attitude and were conscientious about checking in on what should be moved or trashed or donated. They also have a focus on moving seniors which means they understand what you’re dealing with. I’m grateful they were available when I needed them - they made a really difficult week a lot easier.

We used People Helpers for my mom’s most recent move to memory care and they were wonderful. Luann was extremely helpful from the beginning via phone. Erik and Richard were wonderful the day-of for the move and so efficient and helpful. They made an emotional experience very smooth and stress-free and were so reasonably priced. A wonderful company to work with.

This is why I plan to use PeopleHelpers or another licensed, certified and insured senior mover next time. My brother advised that I get a certified senior mover to help me move from my house to an apartment.I chose instead to go with the cheap company that my apartment landlord suggested. They referred me to an uncertified two men and a truck online platform which hooked me up with a guy who agreed to do the job cheap, $250 for 4 hours. When they came, their truck was a tiny van. It couldn't hold my bedframe and in taking it down,they destroyed it. Because their van was so small, the job took multiple trips. They were late to the next job so they hurried way too much. Not only did they ding several pieces of furniture, they smashed the corner of .the apartment wall, which I didn't see until after they had left. They then hurried off. When I tried to claim against their insurance, it was denied because I hadn't told the .over about the damage before they left. My "cheap" movers cost me at least $900 in damages plus their fee for lousy service. Dont make my mistake. Hire someone reliable like PeopleHelpers.

These folks promised a lot up front but truly failed. They promised a certain timeframe of 2 or 3 days which turned into 2+ weeks. They promised a consigned item list at the end for all my mom’s valuables and memories then claimed they had to “donate it all since it wasn’t worth anything.” They also took something from the house without asking and leaving the room with different paint. But the worst thing is that Luann seemed to do anything to avoid working with me rather than my elderly mother who was under tremendous pressure. It felt intentional since I was asking more questions. In my opinion, she seems to confuse the elderly rather than help them. We do thank God that these were the only bad people we dealt with during our incredibly difficult transition of downsizing. We do not recommend People Helpers to your loved ones!!!

The moving guys are great! They moved my stuff very carefully and thoroughly. The only thing I did not like is having to give them my credit card number on paper to them. I feel like this method could lead to my card number being very easily be stolen, although, I was assured it was not. As far as I'm concerned, as a small business owner, you've really got to update this. Otherwise, everything was great!

Richard and Adrian helped move a friend of mine and were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! They were exceptionally professional, kind, patient, careful and just extraordinarily impressive!! July, 2021I have used People Helpers twice now. The first time was when we needed a Senior Move Manager Company to help us downsize my in-laws from their ranch house (2000 sq ft) to an apartment (1107 sq ft). What a challenge! My mother-in-law had a very hard time letting things go. We interviewed 5 different Senior Move Managers, and we hired Luann and People Helpers. They do it all! They help to declutter. They help to decide what can go to consignment and what can be donated, and what has to go to the trash. They even supply the trash dumpster! After going through the house for 6 weeks before People Helpers showed up, we had made a major dent in things. People Helpers then came in, and went through the house with us, and then they went to work. They had my in-laws downsized to their new apartment, the house completely cleared out too. WOW! You can't go wrong hiring People Helpers!update: 1-18-2022:We are now using People Helpers again, as Luann and her crew were FABULOUS the first time around! This time, my father-in-law has passed away, and we needed to empty out their apartment, as my mother-in-law now lives with my husband and I. Granted, it was a lot easier this time around, as emptying a 1107 sq ft apartment is so much easier than a 2000 sq foot home. Luann and her crew, did a fabulous job! I called her, and told her of my father-in-law's passing. We got on her calendar, and the apartment was packed up one day, and emptied the next. Luann and People Helpers did it again! Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and care! You are all wonderful people! The service you provide is wonderful! Thank you!

I worked with this company and I must say; they will not be respectful, they will take and keep personal items and throw away sentimental valuables. So if you want to get bad services then be to be my guest.
