By far the least intelligent and most incompetent mechanics I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. For those that care, I brought my car in with an audio issue on the left side speakers. They tried to tell me that the problem I brought my car in for did not exist at all. It wasn't until I gave them specific instruction to pan the audio to the left side speakers that they admitted they were wrong and that the issue did exist. These people are extremely stupid and they will charge you out the a$$ for EVERYTHING. Do not go here.

Super helpful and friendly staff. I definitely trust them with the maintenance of my car.

Didn't seem like the staff there wanted to sell a car...rather odd for a dealership.

I bought my Mazda CX-7 here 10 years ago and bought the 10 year warranty. Two weeks ago I dropped off my car for 75k mile service. A week before when I got my regular oil change they told me that was due and that they noticed an oil leak. The diagnostic would be $150 for that and I agreed to it.After they supposedly did the tune up and diagnostic work, they texted to tell me it could be the turbo or the PTU leaking oil but they didn’t think it was worth doing anything about it yet. Well, my warranty would be expiring in 7 days so I wanted to know if it would be covered. Besides what kind of diagnosis is “maybe it’s this or that”. And, why would I wait until it gets worse, especially if it’s covered under a warranty contract? They texted me asking for my warranty contract, which I provided. Then they asked for my service records, which I keep in the car, and they told me their system only goes back 3 years. I asked them to get the records from the car. A week after the appointment date, they still had the car and I didn’t have a loaner car and they still hadn’t filed a claim under the warranty. They claim they offered me a loaner car but that’s not true. I was starting to get worried the warranty would expire before they ever submitted a claim, so I called the warranty claims department myself. The claims department finally told me they were going to reject the claim because of a gap in service records. After hours of back and forth, Sil Ter Har texted and told me they want to charge me $338 to open up the vehicle and do another diagnostic. This didn’t seem right to me so I called the claims department again. The claims department informed me that they were asking Sil Ter Har to provide pictures from inside the turbo housing to prove that this was not a service neglect issue. I contacted STH and said that this should not be my responsibility since I had my records and they had deleted theirs, and they told me that I was missing records and that it was my responsibility to keep records.I finally had to give up on waiting for them to deal with this and had to get my car back. I looked through the records myself and sure enough they were all there. I sent them to the claims department and got the claim started and got a claim number myself. After doing that, I’ve been trying to contact STH to honor the claim and setup an appointment. They haven’t returned a call or text requesting an appointment. I think I would have to give a fake name to the receptionist to get someone from service on the phone. My conclusion is that they wanted to collect the diagnostic fee and tell me to be on my way. I’ve been nothing but an annoyance to them trying to get it serviced under a warranty that I purchased from them.Services: Auto engine tuning

Thief, stay away. I brought in a vehicle due to having issues getting it through smog due to an ODB that kept clearing for some reason. They take a look at the vehicle and in their infinite wisdom say it just needs to be driven around some more. I was skeptical but did not have time to deal with it at the time. Well for that magical diagnosis which was wrong they charged over a hundred dollars. Turns out that was not the issue at all, a few months later when I finally got the free time to look at the car myself I realized that the issue was not that it needed to be driven around some more, fixed it myself and got it smogged and cleared. Called then to ask for a refund for the wrong diagnosis as they wasted my time and money and they were not willing to do the right thing. Stay away at all costs, in my case I was able to make up for their lameness with my own work, will you be that lucky.

Wish I could give it a zero, but 1 is the lowest. I brought in my vehicle due to an issue that no one had been able to diagnose, thinking they were Mazda figured they would know the vehicle better than anyone else. I explained the issue when I first arrived, but I guess not that well because the next day they claimed they didn't hear the issue when they started the vehicle... I had to tell them that they had to drive it. WOW, isn't that the norm to test drive a vehicle. So after a week of having the vehicle, they insisted it was brake hardware, I told them that the brakes were a diagnosis I received from my regular mechanic and had been replaced (with aftermarket parts), but the issue was still present. They insisted that it was because it wasn't Mazda parts, so they replaced the brake hardware and surprise... Issue was still present. So they inspected it again and now insisted the brake pads would need to be replaced (because they weren't Mazda parts). I declined the service and went to a different Mazda dealership, which didn't work out either. BTW, the 2nd dealership found that Stil Tehar left a brake caliper hanger, hanging from the strut springs... So if you guys are missing one, that's where it went. I even asked a salesman about selling my vehicle to them, but unless I was trading it in, they completely ignored me. NEVER going back to this service center and definitely staying away from Mazda vehicles. Because of all the known issues with my vehicle, I've decided to just sell it instead of trying to repair it. It's a 2010 CX9 but only has 46k miles, I've only owned it for 2 years and can't believe the crucial flaws the manufacturer allowed on these vehicles. BTW this also includes Ford Edge and the Lincoln version, so beware of this money pit.

Our salesman, Luis, was great. Low pressure car buying at its best.

Jordan was really helpful throughout the entire process of having my Mazda repaired! I also appreciated the patience she had while answering all my questions. Once it was time to pick up my car, Jordan mentioned she wouldn't be there but that Steve would be. Needless to say, he was super helpful as well.

If you plan on buying a new or used car, call Shane Gilmore at Sill-Terhar Mazda. Shane is the most professional, honest and helpful person my wife and I have ever worked with in the car business! Sill-Terhar was great but for the best experience, call Shane, you won’t be disappointed!

Salesmen are not terribly helpful and their cars are priced so much higher than other cars that are comparable. You literally pay thousands more just to buy from a dealership with this name on it.
