Alicia is hands down the best stylist I've had! I have very curly hair and she does a fantastic job styling it just the way I like it. She really listens to what you want done. Her studio is very quaint and comfortable, very chic. She often has special deals and has an easy online scheduling system. I highly recommend going to Studio Bijou, Alicia is awesome!

I LOVE Studio Bijou and Alicia Zoeller!!! I am a senior manager with a large, international corporation and need to look professional and stylish on my frequent trips to the Bay area. I also get my hair highlighted but don't want it to look unnatural. Alicia is amazing!! I have been going to her for 2 years and every cut and color has been top notch and my standards are quite high! I love Alicia and the personal touch she provides. Simply the best!!

Oh my god, worst experience EVER!!! I have been getting my hair done professionally for over a decade. Half of my family are hair stylists and I have multiple hair stylist friends, so I know how they're supposed to act and what I should be able to expect from them. Unfortunately, I moved to CO and didn't have any friends or family around to do my hair anymore, so I had to find someone new. I tried Alicia Zoeller with Studio Bijou after finding a deal on living social. I had walked in with completely blond hair and wanted to go to a more blended highlights/lowlights look. I realized this might not be achieved the very first visit, but assumed she would do her best. I walked out looking slightly better (although the roots were still really bad, but I was told that was due to going from a solid color to a blended look) and felt much better about at least having my hair cut. Five weeks later my roots were REALLY long and I couldn't stand them any longer, so I scheduled another appt with Alicia. I was very upfront with her about what I wanted. I told her I wanted full highlights and lowlights all over my head and really need to get my roots taken care of because they looked terrible. She gave me a quote, and I accepted without any problem. Went to my appt and she had another client already sitting there with color on her head. I know this is common, but with how much work I knew I had planned to be done, I was worried that we would be rushed. Sure enough, she rushed through and didn't put in nearly as many foils as I would have expected her to. I waited an hour while she finished with the other client. When she came back and washed the color out of my hair, I could tell immediately, that my roots were still there. It was like she hadn't got the foils close enough to my scalp (not even close!) and didn't put anywhere NEAR enough foils in to begin with!! I kindly mentioned that my roots were still pretty bad and she again blamed it on my previously solid blond hair. I ended up paying her and walking out, but texted her 20min later the instant I got home and had a chance to look at it again. I was super polite and nice and apologized for being difficult, but asked if she might be able to help me out and fix it up a little. No answer. She didn't text me back until the following day after I finally got mad enough to send an angry message saying that I felt like what she did was unacceptable and she should help me out if she wants to keep my business. When she finally wrote me back, she informed me that she wouldn't be refunding my money, or doing anything to fix my hair. This woman doesn't know how to do hair (I have the pictures to prove it), and she doesn't know how to treat her customers (I have the text messages to prove it). Do not waste your money or your time with her or you will end up regretting it!!!
