About The Refuge
The Refuge is a hub for healing community, social action, and creative collaboration serving in Broomfield and North Denver since 2006. We gather around shared values of Presence, Engagement, Transformation, Welcome, Creativity, and Celebration. Cornerstone in the community is the Refuge Cafe, which offers presence, hospitality, and connection to resources for people experiencing homelessness and without social safety nets including free lunch, showers, WIFI, health care advocacy, and on-site partners. We have many community gatherings and programs each month—Single Mom Unite, Refuge Reads, Nature Heals, 12 Step Group, Refuge Rainbow, Advocates Learning Lab, Practicing Equity, Soulful Sundays, Refuge Kids, Art, and many special events.

This is am amazing orginization, they try and help so many people.

I have been going to the Refuge since 2016. They have always welcomed us with open arms. We no longer go as much as we used to, but it's still a wonderful place to go just to relax or get something to eat.
We provided lunch, too, before when we them we were able to to give back.
