About The Refuge
The Refuge is a hub for healing community, social action, and creative collaboration serving in Broomfield and North Denver since 2006. It gathers around shared values of Presence, Engagement, Transformation, Welcome, Creativity, and Celebration. The cornerstone is the Refuge Cafe, which offers presence, hospitality, and connection to resources for people experiencing homelessness, including free lunch, showers, WIFI, health care advocacy, and on-site partners. The Refuge hosts various community gatherings and programs each month, such as Single Mom Unite, Refuge Reads, Nature Heals, 12 Step Group, Refuge Rainbow, Advocates Learning Lab, Practicing Equity, Soulful Sundays, Refuge Kids, Art, and many special events. Reviewers praise the friendly staff, especially Will and Shelby, who have helped individuals with tasks like getting a driver's license. While the space may not have much for kids, it is an incredible resource for those struggling with living security, providing a caring community and support center with many opportunities.

Wife went and they had a concert. People there are never judgmental and such a breath of fresh air in this turbulent world we live in these days
