Horrible customer service. Leaves you on hold for upwards of 20 minutes. No prior notes. No compassion. Liars.

I had the misfortune of dealing with Byers Pharmacy, and my experience was nothing short of a nightmare every 3 months when I had to deal with them. The customer service at this place is abysmal. It's clear that they have absolutely no regard for their customers and their well-being.First and foremost, the staff at Byers Pharmacy were incredibly rude and unhelpful. It felt like I was inconveniencing them by being a customer. They were dismissive, unresponsive, and displayed a complete lack of courtesy, and even hung up on me.Furthermore, the level of dishonesty and keeping in communication about my next order, I encountered was shocking. They seem to have no qualms about cutting corners and providing subpar services. I felt like they didn't care that I'm here on eggshells at risk of dying all because THEY couldn't call me for 2 months telling me they waiting on paperwork. I even called them and was lied to saying my shipment was on its way when in fact it was not.One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was their complete failure to update me on the status of my medications. I was left in the dark, constantly wondering when my prescriptions would be ready. It's a basic expectation that any reputable pharmacy should be able to meet, and Byers Pharmacy failed miserably in this regard.Overall, my experience with Byers Pharmacy was a complete and utter disappointment. I would strongly advise anyone seeking pharmacy services to look elsewhere. Their bad customer service, dishonest practices, and lack of communication make them a pharmacy to avoid at all costs.

This place is horrible all around. My doctor sent them my prescription. They sent me the wrong CGM unit and scanner. My doctor upset. Called to get the correct prescription. I shouldn't have to argue and negotiate for you guys who do your jobs right and fill prescriptions as per doctor orders. But there I was arguing for 15 min until they finally sent the correct Sensors. Today I received a call asking to confirm my address to ship . I politely asked what they were shipping out. And she said the Lebre 2 which was the wrong sensor!!I called back just to tell them to scratch the whole order that I wanted another pharmacy and the lady that argued with me. The first time decided that she wanted to argue with me again. I have clearly decided not to use this company because of multiple mishaps. Don't try to force me to stay with your s***** company.Rude staff, sending wrong products. HardPass

SALEM is one of the most rude people I have ever dealt with! Extremely unprofessional and rude! I wish I cld give ZERO stars but unfortunately had to give a one star! She supposedly is a pharmacist and does not know how to be one! She messed up on many dates for my meds in the past and lies about how there is 20 calls ahead of her so I drive to the pharmacy and she’s sitting there laughing with co-workers and talking. She was not even on the phone like she mentioned having 20 calls ahead of me! Will not be going back to this pharmacy again because of her!

After 4 weeks I still haven’t received my pump and meter. Between my wife and I we have called more than 4 times. I have been without my dexcom for over 4 weeks now because of the lady on the phone that can’t figure it out. Very disappointed and annoyed I would really appreciate continuing to live my life and my sugar not be all over the place. You realize a sensor and pump make it for diabetics with uncontrollable sugars live a little easier. I have a company to run and 4 children to take care of and you are making this very difficult for me.

Byers is my pharmacy to handle my Dexcom prescription as a type one diabetic. They used to be on top of my refills. I never had a gap in my supply. Lately I’ve had zero contact by staff regarding refills. When I call in, I just get an employee with an attitude that refuses to do anything with my prescription and just says to wait. Previously I went a week without my prescription being filled and now I’m coming up on my final sensor(last 10 days) and yet again have not heard from Byers. Guess all good things come to an end and I’ll be requesting my prescriptions to be transferred to a pharmacy that can handle it.

I haven’t had many issues with this pharmacy up until the beginning of this year. I’ve loved coming here and loved the service, and most of the time things go very smoothly. However, the past two months I’ve been having issues with one medication in particular and this year there have been delays in my diabetic supply shipments.I’m a type one diabetic and My dexcom and omnipod supplies have been late or delayed recently. That I can handle but what I can’t handle is the pharmacy screwing up my medication dosage instructions so now I’m unable to get a refill for almost a month.I have Endometriois, a very painful condition. So much so my surgeon and OBGYN direct me to be on two form of birth control to stop my menstrual cycle completely, to manage the pain. Before those medications I would pass out from pain, throw up, was anemic from the blood loss, and would get my menstrual cycle for weeks at a time.My medication I’ve been taking since 2022 and refilling at this pharmacy since then, was instructed to be taken twice daily. Somehow within the past two-three months my dosage instructions got changed to once a day by my PCP who doesn’t normally prescribe this medication. My OBGYN and Surgeon have both tried to send in updated scripts so I can take my medication as it’s important I don’t abruptly stop it.The next few weeks are going to be my own personal nightmare if I can’t find a way to get this sorted out. I already know I’m going to end up in the ER because my body will not be able to handle abruptly stopping this medication as it will mess with my blood sugar levels, heart condition, and I won’t be able to tolerate the pain.I’ve contacted my insurance company and they directed me to call Byers to have them request an override and change the dosage for the medication back to what it originally was, and once Byers calls I will be able to refill the script the same day. However, every time I call Byers to see what’s going on Im greeted with sighs of annoyance and rude tone by one pharmacist in particular. Everyone else has been great besides her.I found out today that this pharmacist lied about calling my insurance company to request an override. At first she said she called them twice last week, today after confronting her she said she called them once. Which is a complete lie since my insurance company has no record of Byers ever calling them since April which wasn’t even for an override. If this issue doesn’t get resolved by the end of this week I’m just going to transfer everything to a different pharmacy, one that prioritizes their customers and treats them with respect.I would be a lot more understanding if the pharmacist I’ve been speaking with could just be a decent human being and speak to customers kindly. I can understand being busy/being low staffed but that’s no excuse to treat people the way I’ve been treated throughout this process.

They do not ship vital diabetic supplies in a timely manner. Our disabled son's Dexcom transmitter was scheduled to expire on Wednesday, April 5th, and the last of our Dexcom sensors was to expire the following day, the 6th. Despite calling two weeks before, then one week before, and then the day before the transmitter expired, the Dexcom order did not arrive until the evening of the 4th. Such "eleventh-hour" delivery practices place undo stress on a family already reeling under the duress of dealing with a disabled child living with a life-threatening illness. Furthermore, we are a busy family, frequently away from home for extended periods, and cannot schedule our plans around such mercurial and unreliable shipping practices. Adding insult to injury, the customer service representative with whom we spoke was rude and uncooperative. We do not have confidence in our future dealings with Byers Pharmacy.

UPDATE TO BELOW REVIEW:I called per the response below from this pharmacy, and nobody knew what was going on. The reply is from an automated service. I was promised my message would be passed on to the owner for a call back, and never heard from anyone. Called to follow up today and was again mistreated by the pharmacy manager.ORIGINAL REVIEW STANDS. ???Terrible bedside manor, along with Pharmacists that don't know the laws. They have an incredible turnover rate, which is not surprising if they treat employees the same way they treat patients. I have been a patron of this business for 8 years and in the last year, they have had several management changes, and policies that don't follow State or Federal Laws.

Absolutely horrible customer service and horrible at their jobs. Back in the day, a year or two ago, it was the best around with people that actually cared about their patients and customers and it definitely showed, but now they definitely show that they don’t care about their customers at all anymore, they can’t do their job of filling prescriptions or sending for doctors refills on medication. You literally have to do their job for them and tell them to resend or explain where to find the prescription that was sent. It has definitely gone not just down hill but off a cliff. It would be better if it was self Service because it would be faster than waiting on a group of people that don’t care about their jobs or the people they’re supposed to be helping.

AMAZING customer service and communication. When dealing with insurance problems they have gone above and beyond in getting my daughters Dexcom supplies to us while insurance drags their feet.

Amazing customer service in the pharmacy. I call in prescriptions at work frequently and they were so quick and friendly. Other places put me on hold for long periods of time and are very short when they do answer. For once, it was actually a pleasure to call a script in.

Absolutely awful customer service. Called in today to check when my next script was scheduled to be sent and was told verbatim “we don’t have to send you anything and questioning me isn’t going to get you what you need”. Absolutely dehumanizing service. Was met with an attitude the very moment she answered the phone. These representatives need to remember they are providing service to people doing their best to keep themselves healthy or even alive. Very upsetting to be treated so terribly. Do better!!!

Just a heads up for everyone. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT. The once wonderful service we all became use to is gone, unfortunately. Ask for Jon or just go back to king Soopers because service is the same. You have to do their job for them type pharmacy now. So sad ?
