Prices are outrageous and service is not great. I wonder if the owner ever reads these reviews to find out what is going on? The cashier in the garden center today was chatting with a customer for 10 minutes before she checked me out with my items. It was be nice to get $20 hour for doing nothing but standing around and being rude to people. The manager probably gets into this store about two hours a day and does home. The managers are never around when you need them.

Terrible service. Employees need to be better trained. It is absolutely cringey watching the employees interacting with the customers.

Every time I come here I have an issue. No one knows where anything is and they can't be bothered to help customers. It would be less frustrating to have no associates instead of people who don't help.

This Home Depot inexplicably closed the entrance to their drive-in lumber yard and blocked it off with a pile of trashy pallets. Where you used to drive up to a pile of 80-lb concrete bags or 2x12x16 lumber, and just load them (ONCE!!) into your truck, you now have to go to the parking lot, retrieve a cart, hoof it into the store, load the cart, then push it up to a register at the front of the warehouse, then push it out to the parking lot and unload it into your truck. I recently about killed myself trying to load plywood - so I went to the front looking for help - there was a guy embedded in the enclosed weather shelter eyeing me like a bridge troll - he didn't want to come out because there is a nice eater in there - but cracked the door to tell me to find someone at the back to help load plywood sheets. He certainly wasn't budging. So I walked the 200 yards to the back of the warehouse where a couple of gals were intently discussing their lunch plans. No help there. As an aside, as with so many places post-covid, customers are just a PITA to them, they'd rather you don't pester them; customer service is dead. I walked out.I think the management of this store has clearly gone insane. As someone who can barely walk, at best, the odds that I will ever use their store again are nil. I refuse to handle the heavy, awkward stuff one buys at a lumber yard twice. There is a locally-owned hardware-lumber store right up the street - more expensive, but you can drive right in and a warehouseman is always waiting to help load.

Every time I go there I wish we had a lowes .. the prices are insane ( bad insane ) 40$ for 6x12 plank boards ... what a rip off. oh and plywood is outside area.. ok no biggie , but if you want small cuts of plywood you got to goto the plumbing area.. really! Also, almost nothing in the store is in related areas, you end up aimlessly walking around looking for S**** . The manager needs to go to any of Homedepot ( or better yet lowes ) and look at the layout Im being nice by giving 2 stars to this store . I also had to move ( myself and a kid that worked there ) 8 sheets of 4x8 plywood to get to the correct size that was at the bottom of pile in the wrong stack . I didn't go shopping to restock the shelves

This has to be the worst Home Depot for customer service. Never have we seen so many employees with their hands in their pockets, instead of trying to help customers with product purchases. ?

I'm speaking about an online order, my point to the forthcoming rant is to point out that homedepot.com stop offering the HomeSullivan Platform Bed on their website until the manufacturer corrects the problems with the bed. The 10mm screws included to put the bed together are not long enough to complete, many of their parts were not labeled, some of the labels were in places were you couldn't see them from the outside of the packaging. When I contacted the manufacturer they must have not believed me because they sent me MORE 10mm screws 3 days late. Needless to say extra screws had to be purchased to complete the bed.

While it is nice to have a Home Depot in Cañon, this one is VERY small. The parking lot is small. The store is small. The selection is very limited. Half the time I go looking for something they don't have it at this store. Still for basics or small stuff it works. The service is fine. They are never overly friendly, but not rude either. Since the pandemic they have huge signs that say you HAVE TO wear a mask to shop - which I am totally fine with - but don't expect anyone but you and the workers to have a mask. Literally no one else wears one, which is disappointing. I guess it is a lot to ask to enforce the mask wearing. At any rate, if you need something basic they might have it. Remember it is SMALL.

This is the second time I have come into this Home Depot and I was helped by so many friendly staff. At any other Home Depot it is impossible to find anyone to help you or when you call them they run away. Also, their bathrooms are clean! Keep up the good work and the management is doing a great job.

I can understand that "occasionally" some things just don't go right. Stuff happens. When things go South consistently though, that is indicative of a poorly run operation with employees and management who just don't care. Cases in point... 1. We ordered carpeting to be installed. Was told that the carpeting couldn't be installed because our central heating was inoperative at the time. It hasn't been for 15 years because we heat the main area with a wood burning stove and two of the three bedrooms with propane fireplaces. the third bedroom is a workout room heated with a space heater. According to the installer, we couldn't adequately guarantee that the house could be kept at 70 degrees and they required that each room have heating controlled by a thermostat controlled system. The propane fireplaces are but the wood burning stove is not - go figure. So we had to spend $500 to get the central heater serviced so we could meet the installers requirements to keep the house at a perfect 70 degrees. The installers finally arrived to a perfect 70 degrees house to install the carpeting and the first thing they do is open all the windows, letting the 40 degrees outside weather in. %500 spent that obviously didn't need to be. When installing the carpet, the installation team messed up the carpet cutting leaving one room - the master bedroom - 1 yard short. So we have to leave the master bedroom stripped, with all the furniture and clothing in the barn, for over a week while a new piece of carpeting wass ordered and finally delivered. 2. Ordered vinyl flooring and related baseboards and transitions. Took over two months to get it delivered. Phone calls and messages went unanswered. We could never get a definitive answer on where our order was and when it could be delivered. Finally we were called and told that all the supplies were finally in... then they weren't. a few days later they were in again.. then not. When we finally actually got the ordered delivered, it was delivered in the rain and unprotected. Indoor wood (baseboards, molding) wet, muddy and partially damaged. By the way... our delivery window... we were told that we had to be available from 6 am until 8 pm for the delivery and would not be told when, during that time frame, the delivery should be expected. a 14 hour delivery window... really? 3. I took a day off to assist daughter with receiving her new Home Depot refrigerator delivery. She was given an 8 am to 8 pm delivery window. She was finally called at 7:30 pm to say that the driver was running behind and wasn't allowed to work after 8 pm and thus the delivery would have to be rescheduled. She lost a day of pay, I lost a day of pay. When it was finally delivered over a week later, it was dropped off on the front porch - not even brought into the house. Are you kidding me??
