We were traveling from Aspen, CO to Dallas, TX with unexpected car trouble. We got lucky and had the best experience with staff on Monday night. They had a few hours till closing and went above and beyond on trying to get us going to our next destination. Truly cannot thank them enough on their good graces. To Daniel and the lovely lady whose name I did not catch, thank so much again.

Bought a super start extreme battery last year (sticker 10/2022) and it stopped working on 12/2023. These come with a three year warranty. When I brought it in today, they said the tester said it was bad right away. They found my receipt in their system for my core charge of the bad one I turned in in 2022 but couldn’t find my receipt for this battery. They said it was because the person who rang it up put my phone number in for the core charge receipt but not for the new battery. He was kind and apologetic which was nice but I’m still out of $220.

This specific store has no one working here that really has a clue about anything automotive. They never can keep certain stock of items most vehicles currently need. Waist of time and effort every time I go there. Im done with this store hwre in canon city....dont waist your time too because if you own anything new. Dont expect them to have anything in stock. Not even the most common oil filters or oil can they keep stocked.

I tried to change a Wix brand filter under warranty for factory defects in this store and they said they couldn't help me because the filter was used and dirty even though it showed them the defects in the filter.

off and on I needed parts for very older cars that were often not available, but the guys and gals there know their stuff. Reasonable and pretty fast to get most of what you want. Especially when it is something not the run of the mill.

Was told the, "Boss man makes us close up 15 minutes early," thru the door by an employee at 8:48pm that refused to let me in (hours state open until 9pm). I've bought all parts for my vehicles here for the past 5 years and will not spend another penny in the Canon City store.AutoZone then welcomed me in at 8:58 and I was out by 9. I'll stick with where there is customer service. It's not O'Reilly in town.
