Fast, efficient, and friendly! I have been using them regularly for 2 months now for an ongoing issue with multiple medication refills.Could not be happier with Safeway pharmacy’s speedy & courteous service![I had been going to Canon City Walgreens for a few months for same issue/meds.Huge pain every time - their system never worked to notify me when my Rx was ready. Could never get ahold of a real person via phone.So I had to drive down there every time (not super convenient, as it’s 30+ minute drive from my house).I’d wait a few hours after my dr sent the Rx, until I was pretty sure they’d had sufficient time to fill it.Then drive there and wait in line — always minimum 20 minutes, often longer than 1/2 hour — just to be told it wasn’t ready yet. Most times they said to come back in a couple of hours (also not convenient).One time, during a long weekend, knowing my dr had put in my Rx 3 days prior to my arrival, I made it there on Saturday to pick up my medicine, only to be told they never received the Rx! So I had to wait 3 days for dr office to reopen, have them resubmit, and wait for the slowest, most non-helpful pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with to get it together. ]I’m SO SO happy to have such an easy & enjoyable experience with Safeway!

I've had it. Taking my meds to Palace Pharmacy. They act like they're doing you a favor. Ignore you. No smile, no service. Be right with you. Nothing.

Can't believe they treat their customers so badly. On pharmacist was in a chair. Nobody at counter. No line "this time", waited 6 or 7 minutes without a smile, I'll be right with you. Finally, another girl comes out from back. Doesn't even take 5 steps to the counter. Yells, what are you picking up today. The whole disrespect irritates me. It's not just this time, it's most everytime. The woman are snippy. I go many times a month. I have lupus and have trouble standing and waiting so long. No chairs for disabled. They won't answer the phone when you try to call for an emergency, they don't have meds in stock that we need on a regular basis, the blond woman with glasses acts mad all the time. One time an employee followed me out and said I should call and complain about the way she treated me. I should have, but didn't. John and Cruz are great. The others need to be fired. They close now for lunch. Once, I was just a little above the privacy line looking at an item on the shelf. The girl pretty much scolded me in her tone to step back. I'm done. I'll take my business to Palace Drug in Canon City on Main Street. They care about you. I'm really appalled. They've lost my business which is 1000s of dollars a year.

They advertise they're open 8am but closed because the pharmacist was running late. Had to take time off work to come back 9.30am. Only 1 person there. He said it'd be 10-15 minutes but took over 30 minutes. The prescription had been sent the day before.

Safeway has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. They are always very friendly and work hard to take care of their customers. I DO recommend using Safeway for all of your grocery and pharmaceutical needs.

I've had numerous issues with the pharmacy. They rarely answer the phone, they rarely call back after leaving messages, my prescriptions are often not ready when they should be, and the 'automated refill and notification system' is incredibly sporadic and cannot be relied upon. I've since moved my prescriptions to the Walmart Pharmacy and am hoping for better service. Interestingly when I finally did get to speak to someone in Pharmacy in person and described my issues and that I was switching to another pharmacy because of them, there was no recognition or apology for the poor service, just a 'OK' (sounded like a younger girl).

Twice this month we have needed a cake for first a birthday and then a reunion. Both times the cake decorator has gone above and beyond expectations for us! The cake itself is very tasty and the presentation is exactly what we were needing. Thank you so much and I will recommend the bakery at Safeway canon city every time.

BIg thank you to Mike A.!! I have been getting my Rx there for years, and he is without a doubt THE nicest person. I went in this morning having run out of meds and unable to reach my doctor for over week. Mike went above and beyond to get it taken care of. He is a keeper ! and a very kind human. Covid 19 affected everyone, especially pharmacy staff. People had to quit to take care of young children at home or became sick themselves. Safeway pharmacy was no different. I have always loved Safeway pharmacy. The staff are wonderful and they always try to let you know when there is an issue even when they are unable, due to the very high volume of prescriptions to fill., to answer phone calls or call people to let them know their prescription might be delayed. This is normally a two person pharmacy and I think they do a great job. Kudos to you Safeway pharmacy. I know you're doing your very best...

Have been going to Safeway for over 16 years.always loved the friendly staff. BUT they never answer their phone anymore. Prescriptions are never ready on time, and have to make two trips because they don’t answer their phone. Am so disgusted.

The rude-ist tech I have ever come across. I get being busy and getting behind but I don't understand the rudeness. In fact, she is getting paid for her time and I am not. After waiting 1 1/2 days and 2 trips and finally the 3rd, it was filled. I was in an auto accident and needed the ibuprofen 800 to relieve some of the pain. I didn't need her rudeness nor her to make me give me information out loud when I handed her my information and identification to avoid doing so. Get some manners, lady. In the meantime, I am going elsewhere.
