From routine care, to illness or injury, to specialty care, this clinic is absolutely wonderful!Same day appointments are available for urgent matters and waits aren’t long for routine care.Treatment and testing options are also up to date and thoughtful of the animals wellbeing. The vets are well versed in behavior and take their time with nervous animals.Their prices are very fair for what they offer as well.I am so happy with this clinic!

Exceptional experience with the entire team. Henry was relaxed and especially loved all the extra treats. Thank you so much and we'll see you for his next checkup...

Great experience the couple times I have been in with my 10 year old Himalayan cat. They were able to get us in quickly for some tooth extractions with Dr. Quint a few months ago and Dr. Jung and assistant Kaylee were both very friendly and knowledgeable during our annual check up. Thank you!

I was referred to Animal Care Center of Castle Pines by my current veterinarian to perform teeth extraction on Lilly, my little Pomeranian. This was my first visit to Animal Care Center and I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Most importantly, they took the time to explain the procedure in detail as well as all the potential costs.Unfortunately, there was a complication during the procedure and Lilly went into cardiac arrest. Dr. Landy and her amazing team were able to quickly resuscitate her and bring her back to us. Dr. Landy was very communicative and compassionate throughout the entire process. I am so thankful and blessed for the care provided by the staff. This would likely have been a much different outcome if Lilly had been treated somewhere else. Thanks again to the fantastic team that saved our precious Lilly!

I have a nine-year-old 100-pound Aussie does not tolerate handling by strangers. I took him to the Animal Care Center for behavioral training. Dr. Sidel and her colleagues were incredibly patient and knowledgable and not only won his trust, but helped him to trust others too.His back legs gave out in December for a week, and Dr. Bartling has been equally successful at treating him with drugs for the pain and physical therapy and wave therapy to regain muscle use. I highly recommend this business. They are great with dogs and with owners!

I will start by saying I loved this place when we started coming here 5 years ago. We originally decided to go there because Dr Merry Gibson is knowledgeable in healthy nutrition for dogs. Our dog has been at this practice for nearly 5 years now. We had a difficult time scheduling with her for a few visits and had to see other doctors who were available over the past couple of years. At no time were we told that Dr Gibson considers us no longer a patient if we saw another doctor at their location. Her vet tech was rude, condescending and lied. Unfortunately for her but, for fortunately for us she lied about medical law to someone who has been in the medical field for 16years. Saying that a doctor can not use assessments from another doctor in their practice, without seeing the dog "by law" is completely untrue and a lie! The other doctor had seen him less than two weeks prior. Assessments were as follows...blood work, urine test, fecal test, and heart rate, all of which are not opinions but factual. In soap notes (subjective, objective, assessments, plan) no doctor can justify saying that those assessments were based on opinion and can not be used to speak to a patient who is looking for the doctors opinion. That's what set my alarms off enough to leave their practice. As for the rest, it went as follows. We took our dog in because he was drinking excessive water and peeing excessively. The doctor that we saw suggested possible kidney issues or diabetes and that we change his food (shockingly to one they happen to sell, Royal Canin). I'm not sure if you have ever looked at the ingredients but if you want to intentionally kill your dog, feed them crappy "vet recommended" kibble and canned food that by the way, has a 25year shelf life! No thanks! In her defense she also suggested Just food for dogs which we would have considered for sure! She suggested we get some vaccinations that day and we declined, considering vaccinations are processed by the kidneys (they are already in question at this point). We left with a bill of just under $500. I got a follow up call stating that our dog was in stage two kidney disease and we should do and another blood test for $172 to check for a bacteria found in water (Leptospirosis) normally found in areas surrounded by water, not a land locked state. She said they have seen a couple of cases and it would be good to rule out. I Agreed with moving forward with the test but, have never received results. She also requested three days of urine samples (FYI: that means 3 times the charge) and that he should get an ultrasound right away. That's when I reached out to talk to his regular vet, Dr Gibson, I wanted to get her opinion on doing an ultrasound. He would have to be in a light sedation and that too processes through the kidneys. I instead received a call from Dr Merry's ill informed vet tech telling me the doctor refused to talk to me unless we came in for her to do an exam on our dog for another $350. How can a vet refuse to speak to a dog mom with having assessments that have no room for interpretation (ie, blood work, urine test, fecal test etc.) at her fingertips that were done 1 1/2 weeks prior. The tech said they would be willing to do a progress appt for $79 but I would also have to pay for a phone call as well. Horrifying! (That's where corporate owned medical shines brightest! Corporate has no business in medical!) I made an appt for that Sat, called my husband and cried my eyes out at the lies the vet tech told, the way she spoke to me, the raping they were doing to us financially, and the lack of care from his vet. With all of that we have decided to change vets. I still have no results from the additional blood or fecal test. So the last little bit that was an absolute nail in the coffin was that the "manager" was supposed to call me back to discuss what had happened, she never called. And that's corporate for you! Avoid, avoid, avoid! This place is only out to make money! They no longer care about the pets or pet owne

Love this vet clinic. Everyone at the front desk is nice, returns calls, and it's easy to create an appointment. Dr. Kriet is fantastic, and she always spends a lot of time with me and especially my dog (who is VERY anxious at the vet). Techs are all friendly and understanding as well. Detailed receipts are provided, as requested, through email for pet insurance submission, and Dr. Kriet calls with follow-up, lab results, etc. I know we're in good hands whenever we're there.

We took our dog here for a root canal and it was a horrible experience. The veterinarian who performed the procedure was scared to death of dogs and not very friendly or communicative. They started the procedure hours late and the dog was there unnecessarily for ten to twelve hours. Now a couple years later I feel like the tooth is causing my dog quite a bit of pain. I work in the pet care industry and have worked with many veterinarians over the years and this is the last place I would trust to care for my dog.

Animal Care Center of Castle Pines was able to get a sick pup I’m pet sitting in same day when his primary vet (their sister facility) was unable to see him.5 stars on care, kindness, and thoroughness in explaining testing and results, as well as follow up. A plus was that they were also able to dispense the needed antibiotics.5 stars on upfront cost estimate as well. The only reason I give 4 stars is two-fold:1. because in my experience, a lot of the services provided are cheaper at other vets. I have fostered several dogs, and have 3 of my own, so I’m at the vet quite often. I’d say this facility is very nice and that’s probably due in part to their costs.2. because I wasn’t asked to bring a fecal sample in and that’s what ended up identifying what this pup’s illness was. I just happened to bring a fecal sample because in my experience, dogs with GI upset should get fecal testing for parasites.Overall, great and friendly experience, though. Thanks for helping the sick pup!

Dr Brooke and Ashley were amazing! They got Bella in to be seen within an hour of my call and were wonderful from the start! Dr Brooke explained everything to me in great detail and made me feel confident that I chose the right office to come to. Thank you, thank you!

The Animal Care Clinic and its staff are all great. They were friendly and helpful. Dr. Gibson was a life saver and was able to see my sick pup. She was very kind and gentle with my pup and made her feel at ease. Dr. Gibson followed up with an email explaining everything we had discussed. I definitely recommend!
