Way to hard to get an appointment with my schedule. You're looking at a month before getting in. Got sent to another location, and when I got there, they didn't have my appointment, which I heard the lady here make. It's really hard to cancel your plan, too! I'm wondering about the dental cleaning, as each time he's gone in, they want to remove teeth. Not seeing what they are telling me! I'm going to get a second opinion, as I lost my trust with them.

Always responsive and caring as needs arrive. One of my pups has a lot of medical needs so I’ve shopped around and this is the best

The care that my dog received there today was exceptional. They found a tick borne disease that three other vets had missed. They really took care of her. They really seem to be on her side and looking out for her. I would go back there for all of my veterinarian needs.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is absolutely awful. There is no customer service/bedside manner here. It's like "HELLO?!?! IM TRUSTING YOU WITH MY PET'S LIFE!!" They are just a money hungry company that has the worst employees. The employees all look like they just rolled out of bed (excluding some doctors). More of the story: 1) When I arrived, the receptionist was on the phone, which is fine I understand. But I got no acknowledgement. Not even a glance to show they saw I was standing there. I was then taken back quickly into the room not thinking anything more of the interaction until...2)I asked a simple question 3 times about their wellness plan options to the tech and the tech kept saying that's a good question but would never answer it. She then went on asking me what services I wanted to do (aka adding more money for them). Also, my pet had been seen before at the same location and the tech didn't know what vaccines were needed for him even though they are the ones that all of a sudden were saying he was overdue and needed to be seen. I finally got stern and said I'm not doing any services or signing up for anything until you answer me. She then had to leave the room to ask someone else because she didn't know the answer. I was so beyond frustrated at that point, then she came back into the room and couldn't give me a firm answer on my question. By that point I was done. I got up and walked out. To whatever manager/supervisor reads this: your techs and receptionist are the first impressions of your brand and experience. As a customer, it is unacceptable and honestly stupid if you think I'm going to hand over my pet, a member of my family, to someone who ignores me or isn't knowledgeable of their own plans. I hope this Banfield goes through some customer service training and raises their standards as a vet clinic.

I would leave zero stars if I could. If your pet is need of serious, specific care, do not go to Banfield. This will be a bit lengthy, but needed. My 10 year old Catahoula, had swollen lymph nodes 9 days ago (5/24), which was a Weds-I went into Banfield on 5/27. They took a sample of the lymph nodes and said I'd hear something Tuesday. I called Tuesday at 3pm, was told bc of the holiday the results were delayed a day. I called again weds afternoon, I was then told that the labs had only received the samples that day, I asked why and Gabby the vet tech says (while laughing) "why? Are you anxious" Yes, I'm anxious that my dog is dying, The vet (Dr Bogman) called last night at 7 and said her results came back inconclusive (not what was originally told to me) . I asked her how , she goes "well It happens 5% of the time but we would like to test again ." I then asked what the difference would be between the sample they took Saturday and the one they'll Do tomorrow" she says "well this time, we will be more careful. " She then tells me bc my dog has already started the steroids, the test results won't be accurate. She calls me back this morning, she talked to the internal medicine dr at the labs-that they don't like the kind of test my vet sent over bc you can't diagnose lymphoma from it, that they should have done a biopsy. 8 days later. I have zero answers and am switching vets. Summary-I had to follow up with Banfield multiple times, they had no empathy, it was a complete clown show. I am pulling both dogs from the "vet". They started my dog on meds without test results, there was zero solution or plan when asked-when dealing with my dogs life, the most disgusting experience I've had. Do not go to Banfield.

This place it NOT a hospital. My pup suffered 1 week before having to put him down yesterday 4 hrs after stopping at Banfield and being told there’s no doctor to see him. A WEEK IN PAIN SINCE LAST SATURDAY BECAUSE THERE WAS NO DOCTOR TO SEE HIM ON 4/16!!!! The pet hospital told me that if Banfield would have seen him and given me recommendations, we could have taken preventive action sooner.11 hrs after putting my fur baby to sleep I check the Banfield app to complain and now my pup has been removed from the app. It’s like since he passed, all his records were deleted. Are you serious!?You should change your name from Banfield Hospital to Banfield clinic because you are deceiving people by promoting yourself as hospital. Also “walk in” my a$$…. Both times I’ve walked with him & I’ve been turned away. So excatly what am I paying a health plan for??I’m going to remember walle for how he was& his last painful moments, but Banfield - your lack of service and compassion that we received for our injured animal is a far cry from the services you promote. Here’s a last photo of walle before he passed away yesterday. The “I’m sorry for your loss” will never bring back the pain you have caused our family. Twice my pup walle suffered with you - being turn away this last time when I begged for someone to see him. Several hours later he lost full mobility in his hind legs and the time before that he was choking and was turned away too. Confused as Banfield “hospital” is not really a “hospital”!?!?!? Please change your name to Banfield Clinics.

As I told the Vet Assistant today..our experience today redeemed Banfiled for us. Today there were no attempted up sales, no hard push to enroll in their plan. Dr. Tracewells staff were polite, friendly, and understanding. It was a breath of fresh air.

Sometimes they are good, never great. Other things could improve to be more efficient at your front desk. Updated systems and computers for one.

I have been a member with Banfied for almost 15 years (this month). There has been ups and downs with Banfield but I really loved my doctor over at the Castle Rock office. She took amazing care of both of my dogs, one had Diabetes and cushing and she handled him like her own dog. My doctor went on to better opportunities and I was hesitant to continue, as I probably should have. My dog was dropped off on their request ( I did not request an appointment) to do his comprehensive examination. I dropped him off at 10AM he wasnt even looked at by 3PM. I went and picked up my senior dog (almost 16) and we left, he barely made it out the door before he relieved himself. I go in today to get his prescription which I had one more refill and they cancelled it, no heads up, nothing and now my dog is without medication as of Saturday. Luckily, I found another veterinarian office that will take him in immediately and said we will be able to get his prescription refilled same day. Some Banfields are excellent, but I would not let my dog go here. The Parker office was very kind to me, I will be moving my other dog once his plan is up as well away from Banfield. It's a shame as they treated my chihuahua so well, he was loved by everyone there up until the end. Do better Banfield.

I have been with banfield for 15 years. For the most part I have enjoyed working with them mainly for Dr George. She is no longer with the practice and I was apprehensive to see anyone else. After a drop off where my senior dog was in a kennel for 5 hours and had not been seen at all, I will not be coming back to this location. He barely made it out the door before he relieved himself. I was told a couple hours but he wasn’t even looked at. The worst is banfield called me to get my dog in for his visit not the other way around. Which tells me it was just to fill their schedule not for the true care of my dog. After a decade at this specific location I will not be coming back. I know they mean well and they are a corporation so they have to watch their bottom line but I do treat my dogs like family members and keeping a dog locked up in an unfamiliar location is not okay. There was miscommunication when the gal called me as she didn’t mean to tell me a few hours. If doctors are in surgery they shouldn’t have drop off for an annual exam.

Please take the time to read the other one star reviews and carefully consider if this is a place you would want to entrust with your animals. They do not diagnose correctly, and sadly now my dog as many others suffered needlessly and will die from their mistakes. They will not care, and show no sympathy. I am leaving this review in memory of my dog, and hoping others don't have to go through what I'm going through now. I urge everyone out there to go to a "REAL vet" and get the care your animals deserve and avoid this place at all costs!

They were the only place out of 5 vets in Castle Rock that would see my 7.5 yr old pure bred Husky recently diagnosed with IMHA. We needed a simple blood test to see what his red blood cell count was at to determine next steps. They made me and my daughter feel like pet owners and understood our concern.I will not go anywhere else.

Rachel, was so AMAZING!!!! We have an extremely anxious Airedoodle, Mavis, but Rachel was conscious of Mavis’ anxiety and really helped her feel comfortable, which in return helped us also!!! I highly recommend the staff at this location! Thank you so much!!!!
