I took my truck to Firestone to have the battery replaced. When they tested the battery (dead one), they also tested the alternator and said I needed a new alternator. They did not retest after the new battery was installed. I took my truck to the dealership the next day to have the alternator tested and it was working just fine, no issues. Thank goodness, they did not have an alternator and a technician to install it. If they had, I would have been out $1,000 for replacing something that didn't need to be replaced. This will be the last time I use Firestone.

Terrible experience. I scheduled a tire installation. I dropped my car off at the scheduled time. An hour later they called to tell me they only had 3 tires and could not complete the install. This is after I spent 1 hour waiting at the Starbucks next door. They knew I was waiting. They assured me they would be working on my car immediately. But instead wasted an hour of my time before starting the service. Then could not complete it out of their own negligence.

This location is great at communicating when anything unexpected arises! They are always working hard. Even if they get delayed unexpectedly I know I can trust them to do a quality job.

came here fairly recently to get a pre purchase vehicle inspection on a 4runner. I had felt pretty confident of the vehicles health as I had routinely done my own maintenance and had trusted mechanics assist with other more infrequent change outs and tuneups. Aside from that. I was aware of what issues were going to occur sooner than others and had identified those issues to the inspector and mechanic prior to the inspection. As to not waste time on looking for things that I was tracking and aware of. One thing I brought up was the recently full brake kit change out I had done after buying the kit online at rockauto. I was fully aware that there was little air throughout the brakelines. However I brought that issue up.After the inspection. I was told there was numerous issues with the vehicle. Completely puzzled. I went down the checklist and reviewed the vehicle with the tech. One issue he brought up to me was the brakes were needing a full change out. I thought I misheard him, thinking maybe the pads only. No he said the whole thing needed to get changed. I told him "really? Because I just changed out the whole front and back not even 7 months ago"Without skipping a beat I was told "oh they're new? You changed them out. Oh uhm, I'm not sure why it's listed then"Like really? If you're going try and play shady games. Maybe don't lie about something the customer had already brought to your attention that they physically had done? If that's the business practice here. Big shame on them. So at that point. I could not trust a single word of every other issue that was brought up throughout the list. However he was extremely eager to follow up with repairs and getting a quote with me for cost. I told him "no thanks I'll be leaving out of state tomorrow". Vehicle will be done somewhere else. He was immediately disheartened and surprised I was not prepared to do it there.Just to give peace of mind, I went home and identified all the issues that he covered with me to visually check everything for myself. Ran my own engine diagnostics tests to get the warm and fuzzy. Nothing was out of the ordinary and low and behold probably 90% of the issues brought up were not present.Aftering skimming through the other reviews, it looks like I'm just one of many going through a series of shady and scummy business practices. I recommend do not come to this Firestone.

took my car to several other shops around here and told them to check my tires and brakes during my oil change and all of them told me they were checked and fine. I didn’t even mention it to Firestone to see if they’d say anything and they were the first place to actually catch it and make helpful recommendations. def a little expensive but honestly i’d rather pay more knowing they are actually paying attention to my car. last time i was there i asked them for a random favor of helping me get out my back plate screws because they were so rusted and stripped, they couldn’t get it to budge but i appreciated the effort and they didn’t charge me anything. always pretty nice to me and willing to talk me through things without making me feel dumb lol :)

Tanner was great and gave me great service. The new guy is going be great because Tanner was doing a great job showing him the ropes. I'll be back because I haven't had that kind of service in a long while

I find it difficult to trust repair shops' work these days and therefore I have been a DIY'r for almost all regularly scheduled maintenance. But sometimes I don't have the time, and I trust Drew and Tanner here at Firestone, C. Rock, Colorado. They run a quality team of honest, dedicated mechanics who get the work done correctly the first time (at a fair price). I highly recommend them for maintenance and more complicated repairs.

The prices of a full synthetic oil change has gone up substantially, from $70+ to $103. Another point was the lack of attention to details. I had ask specifically that the oil change reminder would be place on the window. A reminder was place on the window but the next change was set for 50,000 miles into the future, and it was place on the old reminder without removing the old one first. I now question how well did the change go. This has been my go to place for years but I'll be going to Grease Monkey in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!I've taken my 4runner here twice and they failed both times.1st visit: I had a pretty major oil drip under my car. I took it to Firestone and they looked under the car. Their diagnosis was... "we can't see where the oil is coming from, it might just be water." The next day, I had a more competent verify the oil filter had been punctured by something kicked up from the road. They said, "it was really easy to see where the oil was coming from."2nd visit: I upgraded my suspension and needed an alignment. I took the 4runner to Firestone and explained that I was concerned the passenger side camber bolt was seized, so they may not be able to do the alignment. The manager assured me they'd do their best, and if they can't do it, I wouldn't be charged. Later that night, I got a call saying it was done. I went inside the store and the kid working pulled up my info. I asked him,"were they able to do the alignment with the seized cam bolt?" He replied, "uhmm yep, looks good, they got it done, everything looks great". I paid and left. A couple months later, I had my front right tire blowout. The tire shop said it was because my right alignment is way off. It chewed through my tire . Thank God I wasn't going fast down the highway. I looked at my receipt, and sure enough, there was a note from the mechanic that said, "could not complete alignment due to cam bolt being seized".I highly recommend you don't use this shop, they lie, and they don't know what they're doing. Protect yourself and your family, go somewhere else.

Took my car in for an alignment, wheel balance, tire rotation. They couldn't do the alignment because of some front end issues, but they charged me for a tire rotation/balance on tires with cord exposed and they did not rotate the tires. They also tried to charge me for an inspection package that I was initially told was free of charge and something I didn't actually want. They did offer to comp the tire balance when we were discussing why they didn't do the alignment, and I said I'd be happy to pay for the work they had done, but if they had told me that balancing tires with cord exposed was pointless or that they didn't actually rotate the tires, I'd have happily taken that discount. I wish I knew a little bit more about cars so that I could've asked the right questions at the time. It was only $65, but I do feel like they were not 100% honest. They could've even called it a diagnostic fee and I'd be happier.Overall I think the issue is poor communication. They had my car for over two hours and I feel that they should've called me to discuss the issues before moving forward or charging me for something that had no real benefit. Instead they just tried to sell me tires and a control arm when I was checking out.
