I have been a loyal customer at this location for nearly 4 years but I'm finally fed up with Safeway. Your produce, milk, and eggs... you know the basics, is always out. Your milk is ALWAYS past the sell by date, which is disgusting and I've wasted a lot of money on bad milk and produce, and have never been reimbursed. I have recently been having to make 2 separate trips to 2 separate stores to fulfill basic essentials, which makes me feel crazy for continuing to support your store. There are also never any available shopping carts or hand baskets, and if you're ever lucky getting one, they squeak or thump throughout the entire store. But, worst of all, and why I am writing this... the last 3 trips to Safeway, your security flagged me at self checkout, (3 times in a row now), as if I am stealing. Then, they locked my wheels on my cart (twice on 2 different trips on separate days) as I was heading out the door. Once is an honest mistake, twice is obvious that this is a pattern and how you treat honest customers. Am I flagged by facial recognition somewhere in your system as someone who steals or something??? Gotta love the world of AI and mass surveillance we are heading into. (FYI I don't steal). This is extremely violating and embarrassing, and makes a giant spectacle of the innocent person trying to shop. I have also witnessed other people's carts locking up, not just mine. So, it seems you guys are really just trying to piss off, embarrass, waste people's valuable time, and lose your entire customer base. I tried my best to support Safeway to help the underdog in the grocery world, but I can no longer in good faith support you. It's just a dreadful and miserable experience every time I go grocery shopping, for crazy reasons that shouldn't be issues. I have enough stress in my life, getting flagged and stopped every time I grocery shop is ridiculous. Seems like corporations now, including Safeway, care more about surveillance than offering a decent product/experience. If anything you have been stealing from your customers with your rotten milk and produce and the time and gas they waste. Safeway needs to get their act together fast before they get a lawsuit...especially the security which is a joke.

Harry is the rudest self check employee ever! Instead of helping he stands there and tells you what to do. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing! Will never return here. Thanks Harry!

You can always find good deals here, and by shopping with Safeway, you'll get a discount at their gas station when purchasing fuel. I save a lot of money both ways when shopping here, buying what I need, plus getting a discount at the pump,...can't bit that. Try them, you'll be surprised how much you can save. I've gotten up to a dollar off at the pump. I love it.

I’d love to be able to just go in and shop for my groceries without being harassed by people outside of the front door who want me to sign up or sign their stupid petitions

Went downhill lately. Removed baskets, missing basic things like baking powder, sushi variety is missing some standard ones.
Update: 9 months later, still no baskets. And now they make you use their app to get the prices they advertise. This is even worse.
Update: years later they still keep baskets away to not let people use them. At this point they are asking for 1 star reviews.

Real nice Go to Safeway instead of King Soopers which is 45 minutes across town and they won't let me use the restroom because the floors wet. Lol there's snow on the ground outside everything's wet. Guess I'll take my business to King Soopers

Popped in to grab a couple things for New Year's Eve. Not familiar with this store, but employees were cheerful and accommodating. Self check-out was quick and simple, thanks to a friendly attendant who jumped right in to help. Pleasant experience. Nice store!

Don't ever use the delivery option for this store. Whatever 3rd party they rely on are complete screw ups. Orders arrive well outside of their window or they get delivered to the wrong house. Some of the workers in-store are helpful, but management behaves exactly as you would expect management to behave here: useless and "not my problem."
Update, 6 months later: changing my review to one star. The mobile app has quit working. We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. We've contacted customer support multiple times, getting a range of answers from "oh we'll do a password reset" to pure gaslighting "there's nothing wrong." Hard to do a password reset when the Safeway website is hot garbage to begin with, broken links and website dead ends. We're quickly resolving ourselves not to come here anymore.

I try to get 2 things at 10:50, and I look online to see when they close. It says 11, so I think cool I made it just in time to buy the 2 things i came (milk and Chick-fil-A sauce)
So I try to go in, and the doors are locked on both. Try and call at 10:52 after checking the doors, and the dude says we close at 10:55. You aren't supposed to close early. You're supposed to close on 11, WHEN IT SAYS SO. Eventually, I just get fed up with the dude and ask for the manager, and he says he is the manager. This is unacceptable customer service!
Edit: THEN ON TOP OF IT THE DUDE SAID "I know you're the type to come in 2 minutes before close." AS IF HE HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL ME ONE OF "THOSE" PEOPLE!!!!!

This store can be a bit hit or miss, to be honest. Sometimes it’s great, with everything stocked and the staff seeming happy. But other times, it’s clear that the employees are feeling a bit overwhelmed and are just doing their best.
Remember, they work hard on the holidays, so let’s be kind and patient with them.

I love their produce department for organic or hard-to-find items like purple potatoes.
