Cute stuff and lots to look at if you can somehow avoid the awkward stares from the jealous women that work here. Like legit mid 40’s , soccer Van Karen’s in overall jeans with angry looks on their face like they hate life or something .. makes you feel uncomfortable, or in my case, annoyed ? lol .. and yo I’m a local and been here over 3 years now and they NEVER smile at this place: no joke .

This is the best place I know for gifts. Wonderful selection of home goods, art, clothing and more. I literally always find something when I go here.

The ONLY reason my review is 1 star is due to today's events. I've lived in Castle Rock for 2 decades, been a huge supporter of small business and love my town, but today, it fell short. My sister and I are "brown", we noticed a tall elderly white man in a turquoise polo and white shorts (in his 70's) following us around the minute we entered the space. He was literally in every cubby we stopped at and constantly looking at us, then my sister realized he'd followed us from The Barn and followed us around there too. He was obvious so I acknowledged to his face by the infused water to 'stop following us'...and he suddenly did, almost immediately he disappeared. Once we were checking out, THERE HE WAS AGAIN, ENTERING THRU THE FRONT DOORS! And guess what, the employees acknowledged him as an employee! He didn't follow anyone else, because the majority of folks were white. This is the first time I've been profiled at The Barn & The Emporium, and it's disgusting. We will not be returning but I'm guessing management would like that. TO ALL SHOPPERS - IF YOU ARE PROFILED HERE, POST IT, the small business owners who need the sales are losing them when locals like me decide to never come back because of the employees here!

There are so many beautiful things to find here. I see something new every time I go. Great way to support small local businesses in one spot. Another place we always take visitors when they come.

I love this place and have been shopping here for a long time. However recently, I went in with two of my friends and had. a very unfortunate experience with them. The employees who were working followed us around the store as we shopped, even had a police officer circle us twice! At first, I didn’t notice until one of the employees came up to my friend demanding her to hand over her items, accusing us of trying to steal jewelry. My friend states she put them back on the table since she didn’t want to purchase them. The employee then proceeded to accuse my friend of stealing two other items, which I had picked out and was carrying around as I shopped. Once she saw I had them, she ripped the items out of my hands, and said I can pay for them at the front desk. We were immediately targeted upon entry and treated very disrespectfully, sad to see that younger customers are not treated with respect.

Located next to The Barn, THIS is worth the effort to find a parking spot. Independent merchants booths, wide variety of goods from jewelry, florals, clothing, home decor, to live nursery plants and farm memorabilia.I'm giving it Four stars because the staff that day, was inattentive and seemed uninterested in patrons. Maybe it's not always like that. The booths were completely stocked and well merchandised.

If I could leave 0 stars I’d love that. My younger sister who goes into this shop about every weekend to by rings and rocks was met with police this time she went in. The lady’s behind the register immediately assumed she was stealing because she is young and called the cops. The lady’s (one with a pixie cut) were incredibly rude to her too and kept following her around the store until the cops came and asked to check her bag. These ladies should be disappointed and ashamed of themselves. My sister even bought stuff so she told me this will be the last time she gives her business to you guys

We love The Emporium!! I've lived in the areas for over two and a half years now and I wasted the first year and a half not wandering in. What is wrong with me?Highlights include multiple small businesses operating in one larger space. Each business has their own "booth" setup so you can wander and find a little bit of everything here. The Emporium has so many options for nice gifts that I both and have received. Candles, mugs, jewelry, tie dye items, men's items, tea (loose & bagged), candy, home decor, clothing and practically anything else you can think of. Most importantly, they carry Hammond's candy bars. We love Midnight Snack and buy these as a local treat to share with friends and family. The perfect spot to wander for an hour or three!

This place has it all! Small cubbies where individual vendors can show off their product. Everything is paid for at one place but there are tons of vendors with very unique items. Food, clothing, gifts, art, stuffies, hats, housewares.

What a great place. You can shop for so many different items here from all the different merchants. I got a spoon ring from my daughter that I love. My son bought me a sweater from there and we got other items from bracelets to earrings to jams and beanies as well as purses and holiday items. It connects to The Barn which was also great to visit.

I decided to visit here on a Saturday afternoon in downtown Castle Rock. I'm finding that there's a lot to do in this charming town. The Emporium is located diagonal across from Festival Park. It's also next to Castle Rock Municipal Court and Police Department. Reserve plenty of time to browse through the various sections of products they have. I was impressed with their selection of frozen meats which is inside a decent sized stand up freezer, immediately to the right after you enter the store. They also have a nice selection of homemade frozen pies and a display of various jams nearby. They also have a nice section of various hot sauces, BBQ sauces, and spices. I also like that they have a display of men's hygiene products. The Budweiser soap was interesting. The store is also clean. Staff is not too far away to assist. I like that they don't follow you around or immediately approach you asking if you need help with anything. Also, there is only one floor to this place but they pack quite a bit into their store with plenty of room to navigate throughout. The good thing about visiting here is that you can go next door to an antique store to browse. Overall, The Emporium sells a lot of home based products. Prices seem reasonable as well. I recommend checking them out sometime. There is also a cute coffee shop located in a house across the street from here.
