These are the best vets. I drive from Denver because they are so kind and conscientious. There prices are also reasonable.

We've had really great experiences with this vet with both our cats and our dog. I have lots of anxiety around doctors and vets and they always are so understanding of my extra questions and concerns. They have always taken really amazing care of our babies and seem to really care, makes me feel much more confident leaving our animals health in their hands. Even when they haven't been able to fit us in they are always very helpful at recommending alternative options. We will drive out of our way to continue going here with vets we can trust.

I had a wonderful experience my first visit with my ferret! I didn't feel rushed. I was able to ask all my questions and received answers, I felt like this visit was different than other vets I had experienced. Everyone is happy and they care about animals here! I even learned few things that I didn't know before. Thank you for helping Taz and me!

Absolutely love this vet! We had an emergency foster of 2 ferrets last year that were abandoned in an apt that had mites. Unfortunately our ferrets also got them. The vet gave us enough meds for all of our ferrets and only charges us for the 2. I have never been more respected and my concerns were heard and taken care of. We brought 1 of the noodles back in last week with a uti and they took amazing care of him again. Got his meds and went home happy campers and so much less worried. The prices are affordable and the care for you and your furry love is amazing! It is about a 40 minute drive for me and it is absolutely worth it.

I don't usually right bad reviews but this might help a few more of us locals out. My wife and I brought our puppy in with some skin irritation in the ear flaps and around the eyes. The male Vet who owns the place gave us some steroids, antibiotics, and told us that she needed some Benadryl twice a day in her food. It went away and immediately came back when the steroids were finished. Our second visit, the female Vet who owns the place told us that she actually had an ear infection (miss) and sent us on our way with steroids, antibiotics, special ear cleaner and $240 worth of special food for an allergy. It went away and immediately came back when the steroids were finished. Our third visit, the traveling Vet came in and told me that she had another ear infection and that all of our problems could be solved with an allergy shot once every 5-6 weeks. AMAZING!!!!!! Thank you to the traveling Vet who was able to help our poor puppy after months and months of pain and misdiagnosis. When I asked if they could wave the visit fee since we have been jerked around for the 3rd time and lost an average of $1,200 in vacation time from work, they told me that you wouldn't expect to see a human Dr for free would you? That seams a little unfair since they are not Dr's and we trusted you to do the right thing and you strung us a long to make money off of us. What you don't realize because you don't own the company, is that you just cost this company a lot of money for a simple gesture on your part. We plan on always having two dogs during our lifetime and could have spent a large amount of money at this facility which would have only cost you $50. I'm 42. Life expectancy in my family is 104 years. On average that's 2 dogs every 10 years Annual visits and medication conservatively $2,000 Every ten years $20,000 Lifetime customer $200,000 Blue Spruce lost $199,950 tonight but you didn't lose anything because you don't own the company. When I was leaving, the lady said if you don't like it here then we can send you your records and you can go somewhere else. I feel like the owners would have handled this a little differently if they knew what was happening in the front lobby.

Super responsive staff, patient doctors, and just a great office. The ability to email quotations and get a sale day answer is great, especially for new fur baby parents such as ourselves. Dr. Tom is great! Worth the drive from Denver.

We were introduced to Blue Spruce Animal Clinic as they were our rescue dog's primary care provider and we opted to continue her care there. We've had a handful of contact with the clinic in the few months we've had our pup and are thoroughly pleased with Blue Spruce. Our dog is quite owner protective so doesn't react well to strangers especially in a close quarters setting like an exam room, but Dr. Tom and the staff are patient and understanding and take the time necessary to give our dog a thorough exam. She is always willing to answer questions, even outside of the clinic appointment, through e-mail, text, or by phone. Our pup needed a medication filled and the staff were prompt to offer up their own pharmacy services or call in the script to our local pharmacy since we're kind of a long drive away being in Denver. Having been to a couple other veterinary hospitals around town, Blue Spruce stands out in their exemplary service and the care they show our sometimes intimidating dog.

Cody is my go person from now on. I couldn't be happier with his service! He called me back immediately to see what he could do for me! He even came over the same day to repair issues in my bathroom. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, fair pricing and honest. You will not regret using Cody!

Recently we moved to Castle Rock. We have two rescue pups, our sweet girl is a 9 year old English Lab with many health issues. I was so sad to leave an amazing vet and nervous I wouldn't find anyone here I would trust as much. I can say hands down we found an awesome new spot to take care of her! Dr Chai is so compassionate and his office is always quick to get back to me. I will be happy when we can actually walk in with her and meet him face to face. I highly recommend Blue Spruce in Castle Rock. They are professional, Compassionate and very reasonable in their cost for procedures.

I had a great experience coming here as a new client. We recently moved to the area and have been looking for a new vet. We had a "just okay" experience at another clinic so when my Aussie hurt her paw I decided to come here. The receptionist, vet tech, and vet were all so kind and helpful. My pup got her paw all stitched up without sedation per my request and we got sent on our way with antibiotics. I will definitely be coming back here for any of my pet's future needs! Thank you to everyone at Blue Spruce! Especially for being so nice even after Breesy got the vet in nose! I'm still embarrassed.

Wonderful experiences at this clinic. The entire staff is thoughtful and very caring. We had just recently moved to Castle Rock and needed emergency pet care for our elderly dog. They got us in immediately and attended to my dog's needs. I highly recommend this clinic for all of your pet's needs.

This place is clean, well stocked and very professional. From the check in, weighing of our dog, vet tech and veterinarian every step was exceptional. As we are moving to another country the veterinarian and staff researched the proper protocols and verified with me every step to Ensure our dog would not be quarantined. Costs were reasonable and a timeline set to accomplish my goals. I give a 5 star rating for exceptional experiences. If your pet has need of a veterinarian I recommend this office for a smooth and friendly experience. Conveniently located right behind the Walgreens of downtown Caste Rock.

Love this clinic. Called with major concerns about my dog and was seen the same day. Jasmine was great with my dog and very thorough. Anita, the vet tech I believe, was also very knowledgeable. I left feeling at ease and that my dog was properly treated! Got a follow-up call a couple days after our appointment as well. Will be returning!

My cat was seen at Banfield inside Petsmart in Castle Rock this past Saturday. The vet at Banfield diagnosed an intestinal blockage. That vet recommended a $5000 surgery. When I had to explain that I could not afford that, she recommended euthanasia. My heart and my three sons' hearts were broken. I began calling other vets in town for euthanasia. God bless Blue Spruce! The minute someone answered their phone, I knew we were going to the right place. They saw him the following day, a Sunday! Within moments of the exam and the vet reviewing his X-rays, I was assured my kitty did NOT have an intestinal blockage, but in fact had a bad cold!!!! The Blue Spruce clinic saved my most loved kitty!!! It is rather ridiculous that Blue Spruce has to "clean up" after yet another of Banfield's near fatal/tragic "care." Blue Spruce saw us within hours of my calling them. My cat was not even one of their established patients. The fee charged was extremely reasonable. Without question, they are the BEST veterinary clinic in Castle Rock, and most likely all of Colorado. Every staff member was kind, compassionate, loving, smiling, empathetic, and eager to do everything possible to help my kitty and my children's feelings. Because of Banfield's inept vet, my sons' had told our kitty goodbye for ever! But not at Blue Spruce, I will FOREVER be thankful!

My dog needed a refill on her meds along with blood test before the refill could happen. I made the appointment and I could come get 5 pills for her before her appointment. When I first went to pick them up (2 days after I initially spoke to them) they were not ready! So I came back later in the day and these 5 pills were going to be $29.95!! I was told there was a $19.95 refill charge!! I passed on the pills and took her into her appointment today. I told the tech that I had researched it and have decided to put my dog on CBD oil. She asked if I still wanted to speak to Dr. Mikoni. I said yes please. The tech returned and said she would need to charge me for an exam for me to talk to the Veterinarian!! Seriously!! Not only does the right hand not know what the left hand is doing, they nickle and dime you! I have 3 dogs and now need a new vet!
