This place absolutely sucks. Me and five other students feel targeted my admin and constantly get blamed for things that we didn’t do. Their moto is “go anywhere do anything” but I’m not even aloud to go to the bathroom. I was part of student council in 2021-2022 and we only had one meeting the whole year. This school is highly unorganized and not open to new ideas or requests they just shush you if you disagree with what rules they set in place. Every year there’s a new set of teachers. I understand teachers swap places each year they move around but 10 teachers leaving in one year is an astronomical amount. As being someone from mexican decent I’ve also been bullied by kids for being mexican. I’ve been called a “monkey”, “beaner” and “wetback”. Since the kids here are predominantly white they aren’t exposed to as much diversity which is a problem. I also feel as if the consequences that teachers and admin give to students are very harsh.

WCA is an excellent school with academic rigor appropriate for grade level and an excellent foreign language immersion program. My daughter has excelled in language here!

Disappointing to say the best thing I can about the school. The administration is wildly under-qualified to be running a school and got positions by being friends with the board of directors. Board of Directors treats admin positions as a who's who of their friends when filling vacancies. School has one of the lowest pay scales in a low paying district and the staff largely demonstrates that. Foreign language teachers (Mandarin) use rulers on desks when attempting to maintain attention of children and have accidentally hit some kids in this practice which they then apologize profusely for doing, a very serious abuse of power if you ask me. School has 15 complaints regarding its "Special Needs" program from this year alone and ARC has requested that the district do an investigation into the school. One admin, a vice principal, told a special needs parent that they should just enroll their special needs child in a public school as WCA does not have the resources to assist that student. The Athletic Director enjoys yelling at the kids and makes kids that use noise cancelling headphones take them off or he yells louder at them. Honestly outside of Mrs. R, the librarian, this school lacks any and all semblance of a qualified educational institution. The principal needs to go as she is in way over her head, and the vice principals need to follow her. I hope the Board of Directors actually start taking the childrens needs for a quality education seriously and stop playing come join our clique before this school fails even further than it already has.

Honestly I'm not happy with this school only reason I gave this 2 stars were because of two good teachers, teachers would lie the education sucked we were doing review for all classes except the good classes math and ela. I had a choice and it seems I chose wrongly.

WCA has the best teachers and staff! The principal, Dr. B, is an excellent leader. The language program is truly unique.

The whole school is outstanding and focused on the children, not just the school image. We have 2 kids that have attended since the school opened 4 yrs ago!

World Compass Academy has been a great school for our family! I researched every school in the county and I always came back to WCA. They have set high academic standards for the students yet they still make it a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for the kids who attend. My daughter loves her teacher and all of the fun activities that the school offers. She is coming home with a new mastery of reading and writing skills every week...and she is speaking and singing songs in French...as a Kindergartner! I have been beyond impressed with what she's been able to learn at WCA and look forward to seeing what the rest of the year holds!

Tried it out for a time. Not great. I urge those interested to ask for the resume of the teacher you entrust your child with. And make sure to check with Child Services!Principle is aloof and the faculty is not very qualified. Parking and pickup is troublesome. The curriculum ideas come from many millennial aged parents, but if that is your thing then okay. Our child is at a public school and doing great. Very glad we left.

This school was absolutely terrible. i wish I never went there. first of all the teachers where mean I got in trouble a lot for just being myself. i felt like I had to be a different person there.and it was very unorganized. they also lied about our education we where promised field trips, and we didn’t go on one.we also had 5 different science teachers in one year .one of the five science teachers always came in high and smelt like weed .would have given it a zero star rating if I could.the language arts teacher Mrs.johnson was a bully she was the worst I wanted to cry ever time I went that class.the school is a actually HELL hole

This school is horrible, wish I would of never enrolled my kid but good thing this next year she won't be there. The principle is a joke and a shame to education. They don't stop bullying and don't even really teach the kids good it's basically a puppy mill to make monney..
