I was pleased with how Hong Bao handled my last minute filing. I was highly displeased, though with the conversation I heard between her and another associate there as I sat in the waiting area. I guess they thought I had gone. The other associate was asking about how much I made, what I did for a living, how much did I owe, and did I choose a payment plan. Once Hong Bao Told her how much I owed she said very loudly, that’s crazy! She then went on to ask if I had any taxes taken out all year. All with an undermining tone, and I even heard her say “well when he called in he made it all seem so simple”. I couldn’t make out everything that Hong Bao was saying, but I could definitely hear her whisper in the answers. Lastly, I heard her say that they should take it back to the way things used to be when people had to have an itemized list of all of their tax paperwork. I guess something was mentioned because I had multiple 1099 forms.I felt that this was a huge invasion of privacy, in regards to my filings and my personal financial information, but it was also extremely unprofessional and rude. I mean, who wants to hear negative things being said about them in a tax office, especially when you just found out you owe? Crazy experience.

I scheduled on line and was seen the same day. All the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Stephen prepared my return and was very knowledgeable and very kind and supportive. I would recommend H&R and especially Stephen.
