I saw the clothes my son got back from this cleaner and they didn’t even look properly cleaned. Very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Updated Review – In Response to Business Reply
My recent experience with this dry cleaning business was deeply disappointing and, unfortunately, reflective of a serious lack of professionalism and accountability.
During my first visit, I dropped off several items for cleaning. After the associate printed the receipt, I placed one additional item — a suede jacket — on the counter. I was verbally assured by the woman at the front desk that it was fine to leave the jacket and that I could pick it up along with the rest of my order. However, when my father later picked up the completed order on my behalf (as I live out of town), the jacket was missing.
Upon returning to the store to inquire, I was met not with assistance but with hostility. I politely asked the male associate if he could check whether the jacket might have been left behind. Instead of helping, he immediately raised his voice, pointed aggressively at the receipt, and accused me of lying. He even went so far as to say, “I hate people like you.” No attempt was made to look for the jacket or take my concern seriously.
On a subsequent visit, I noticed two additional items were missing from the original 32-item order. Once again, I approached the staff respectfully and asked whether those pieces might have been left behind. I was met with the same aggressive demeanor, culminating in the associate threatening to call the police. He ultimately did contact law enforcement — and the dispatcher clearly stated that it was not an emergency and that there was no valid reason to involve police over a customer inquiry.
At no point was I hostile or disruptive. I simply expected a reasonable effort to locate missing items. Instead, I was met with an alarming level of defensiveness, verbal aggression, and blatant disrespect.
In response to the business’s public reply below: it is true that I had left an earlier review, which I temporarily removed in the hope of resolving the matter privately. That decision was made in good faith, not because the issue lacked merit. To suggest otherwise misrepresents the situation entirely. The core problem remains — items were not returned, and I was met with rudeness and false accusations when I sought a resolution.
I understand that mistakes happen. However, the refusal to take responsibility, the immediate escalation, and the way I was treated throughout this process are unacceptable for any business — especially one that relies on trust and care with personal items.
I strongly urge others to consider this experience before entrusting valuable garments to this establishment.
Additional Response to Owner’s Reply
The owner’s response is a clear attempt to misrepresent what actually happened and to shift blame instead of accepting responsibility. There was no warning or prior discussion before the police were called — it was an immediate escalation to a situation that never warranted it.
When I first entered the store, I was met with aggression and hostility, including being yelled at to “get out,” simply for asking about my missing items. To then see the business publicly distort these facts to make themselves look good is deeply concerning.
This kind of dishonesty and lack of accountability only reinforces my original point: the business operates without professionalism or integrity. A responsible establishment should focus on resolving issues respectfully, not rewriting the truth to protect its image.

What a fantastic job Mayfair Cleaners did on my bone colored silk blazer! The blazer had a few spots on it and I wasn't sure if they would be able to get them out. Not only did Mayfair get the stains out, they made the blazer look brand new. I found their pricing to be reasonable and turn around time was just a few days. I highly recommend Mayfair as a competent and trustworthy dry cleaner.

I spent a lot of my free time for at least a couple of weeks trying to find anyone who could fix a zipper slider on an expensive ski jacket. I went on line looking and called several directly, i.e., dry cleaners, shoe repair, boutique shops, including one that was supposed to specialize in this but only open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and never returned my inquiry. One was over 20 miles away (too far). One lady at her shop told me that she had "a spare zipper slider. If that doesn't work, I can replace the whole zipper (yeah... right...)". Still another one who claimed to do alterations on University Blvd interrupted me as I was explaining my situation with a very curt, "No!". I was beginning to think that what I originally thought was a simple ask might not be as simple as I thought. That was was until I finally called Mayfair Cleaners since I had used them for dry cleaning in the past with good results and it was practically in my same neighborhood. The gentleman said I could bring it in and they would take a look at it. So I brought the jacket in thinking that, even if they could replace the zipper slider, I would probably have to leave the jacket there and might not get it back in time for skiing the following weekend. Boy, was I wrong about that. The woman there took the jacket, found a matching slider, and replaced the broken one with it, in like five minutes. I did not even have to ask! She charged me $8.00. Well worth it! I'll remember to use them for anything requiring dry cleaning, alterations, etc. They are fantastic!

I moved further away from the cleaners and STILL drive there because they are great! Most recently they came through on an emergency hemming of bridesmaid dress. Had it done in just over 24 hours! Can't thank them enough and recommend them highly.Service: Alterations

I brought in a $70 dress shirt that I was debating throwing away as a different dry cleaner wasn’t able to get out some pretty blatant stains.Not sure what he did, but my shirt is literally like new. No question we’ll use them for any cleaning needs moving forward!
