This isn't the best location I've been to but it isnt the worst either. This was my first time buying and selling at this location. There was only 1 lady that was super nice when greeting you when you came in the others have attitude or dont even seem like they know what there doing. Ive been doing this almost 4 years now. I brought in 2 bins. 1 large and 1 small and as I'm bringing them in the lady says they can only take 1. That's something you could tell me before I bring it in . Or have it on your website or Facebook page so people arent bringing more than needed. They also should state what they do and do not take. They dont take wipes like alot of other locations.. I didn't like how this location is priced specifically really high. They had 6 to 9 months baby leggings priced at 6.50 when brand new at walmart you can buy them for 4.98 or 5.98. They had a teething toy for 5.99 when at Walmart the same one is 4.98 so i found that very odd. It took them 3 hours to go through half of my bin, I had a couple of sets and one set they took the top but not the bottoms. They had a great selection but I will never forget how one of the ladies made me feeling coming here.

I really loved this place. The store literally smelled clean upon entering and the selection of items was very impressive. I think the prices were also reasonable. I didn’t consign there, I only purchased but it was a great experience! I definitely recommend?

I was disappointed when the Once Upon a Child closed in Aurora and at that time found out they are all independently owned. The Centennial store is the next closest store. Every time I walk into that store, the employees ignore you, and when they finally say something, it’s pure annoyance. It’s truly sad. Now- the Once Upon a Child in Littleton on Bowls, they are amazing! Every time. Doesn’t matter who it is. They are all so nice and genuinely kind. They also treat me and my kiddos with respect. Something you unfortunately don’t get much more these days.

Dropped off clothes at 11am called at 4pm to get update on clothes and they told me to come back at 6 come to find out the clothes barely been looked, or not looked at in general as they said the clothes had a smell on them she never clarified the smell as these bags which was strange to me as they had been in closet wrapped in plastic bags before turning in I legit ripped out plastic bags as I turned the bag in etc and then took 5 minutes for me to start to get assistance once I came in was just treating me like I was dumb when saying I was coming to pick up items they didn't buy. I never had an experience like this at the location that was in aurora so this was beyond me as i drove out of my way to here would not recommend as there was unused clothes in there may have been a few with stains they could've turned away easily in addition to being upfront when I had called earlier take business else where we were so happy walking in as it was so nice looking and we were gonna come Christmas shopping till this experience as other customers were easily acknowledged while I was waiting. Saying the clothes were soiled is pushing it as i looked through reviews this isn't the first time they have done this either

Extremely rude and unprofessional employees. Make the rules as they go when they do not want to do their job. Will never be back

We drove from 3 hours away and dropped stuff off right when they opened to sell/exchange for store credit for things we needed. We were told we were next to have our stuff gone through. At 5 pm our stuff still hadnt been gone through. We had to take it back with us. Poor service

I bought items in today along with a little bouncer this morning. I was pointed out to spot and asked to take it home and clean it which I did and I brought it later today. So I did the pesos on looking at it says to me " SHE ALREADY TOLD YOY TO CLEAN IT" which I did ! Clearly, I missed one spot big a little bit more nicer are kinder would be highly appreciate it. She was beyond rude and disrespectful.

Every day this location stops buying before it even opens. I understand they are short staffed and have been for a long time but if they can't in any way support a service they're offering they absolutely should not be advertising that they offer that service. Coming to this location is a huge waste of time.

I called about a week ago and asked if they would be interested in buying an extensive wooden train set collection, mostly Thomas the Train and Brio, if I brought it in the following week. They said yes. I asked if I should break it up, as it’s a lot of interchangeable pieces, trains, bridges, etc. They said no, they’ll take a look and if it would sell better in smaller lots, they’d break it up.So, later that week, I hauled 70 pounds of wooden trains, tracks, and accessories to their store. After they reviewed it, the lady doing the buying told me that they could offer me $16 in account credit. $16?! For 70 pounds of Thomas the Train, Brio, and KidKraft? Her comment was “I know it seems low, but we can only sell a mixed lot like that for $50.” I told her I’d called ahead any they hadn’t told me to break it up at all. She looked at me blankly and said, no, it’s mixed brands. Although I know they’ve got to price how they feel fit, I specifically called and asked if they’d be interested and if I should break it up at all, so their inconsistent answers cost me the time and hassle of lugging 70 pounds back and forth. Worse, I picked up a few items to buy in store, and since I didn’t take the $16, they didn’t offer me a trade in discount, even though this was such a hassle, and the discount wouldn’t have been much on a handful of dresses. Also, I told them I’m a teacher and they said they won’t do teacher discounts anymore except for on books. I’m a teacher—I have books. The person buying again said that they hadn’t done teacher discounts on other things “for as long as I’ve been here” which she said was about a year. They said I could get more points for bringing my OUAC tote, which I’d left in the car being that I was hauling a huge bin of train stuff, and instead of just saying “I’ll give you 10% off for the inconvenience” or “I trust you have your bag,” the cashier told me to go get my bag, and the line of people behind me to check out all had to wait while I ran out to my car… for a tote bag.Really, this was a terrible experience—From misinformation to really poor customer service. Pre-pandemic, I was in here every other week. In the last year or two, I’d more often gone to the Aurora location where the owner, Maria, knew me by name and even called me when I favorite brands showed up. She was a gem, and I never felt lied to or nickel and dimed. I’m sad the Aurora location closed, and faced with dealing with the Centennial location again, I’ll just sell on my own.

You have to be at the store really early for them to buy your clothes. Other locations are much better about it.

Bought a baby gate and sticker states $12 but when upon returning home I looked at the receipt and was charged $25 for a chair that was never purchased. May seem petty to some but I’m a business owner myself and doing so to my customers is not only lying but deceitful. I’ll take the $13 loss over loading my child up back in the car for an hour round trip. I’ll just take my business to Kid to Kid from here on out

We absolutely love this store. Since we have found it we do not pay full price for any of our daughters clothes. We have found tons of new with tag clothes and uniforms at half the price. The girls behind the counter are always so willing to help and they even have a wish list if we can't find what we need, and if they receive the item they call and let us know its in stock.
