Bought a set of kitchen cabinets from Kitchen Showcase Fergusens. They were on time and only one had damage from shipping. They got a replacement door for me even before countertops were in place. No shallow promises and very good at communicating details.

We used Kitchen Showcase through our builder for our new home in Lone Tree that was built last year. They were great to work with during the initial cabinet selection. I was even more impressed with Kitchen Showcase when I contacted them about changing out a cabinet a month ago. Ruth called me back immediately and came to my house two days later so she could give a better recommendation. She is a true superstar!

I would give this company a zero star. Installed a broken kitchen cabinet siding and frame resulting in dishwasher barely secured. Took 4 months to get an appointment which they cancelled last minute. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved.Service: Cabinet installation

Victor E. continues to be an integral person as part of the Kitchen Showcase team post cabinet installation. He has been putting the finishing touches for the cabinets for parts which were delayed from the primary portion of installation. Thank you Kitchen Showcase Team.Service: Custom kitchen cabinet construction

Victor was the delivery person for our new cabinets. He was professional, careful and courteous. He did an excellent job with going over the order and all the instructions for the installer. He is a great ambassador for The Kitchen Showcase!Update adding a review for our designer Darrel Stoesz. We remodeled our kitchen after 20 years of service and our designer Michelle Chapman introduced us to Darrel Stoesz. What a pleasure it was to work with him! He listened to us a with his years of experience offered us excellent suggestions to make our kitchen be the best design, functionality and style it could not have turned out better. At a time when its hard to find professionals and folks who take real pride in their work it was refreshing to meet Darrel and Michelle.Service: Custom cabinet design & installation

Please reference Google review for pictures. I worked with Kitchen Showcase on the recommendation of my designer and GC. I saw excellent reviews on Google and Yelp and therefore did not hesitate. I will update this review to reflect any changes should I receive compensation for the below issues. I didn't want to air my grievances publicly but since it's been 4 months and I have not received compensation this is the only choice I have. I also want to alert others to choose a different cabinet shop for their jobs because this one is no longer what it once was. 1) You should be aware that Kitchen Showcase is no longer family owned and operated - it is now owned by Ferguson effective 11/18/21. 2) Our designer at Kitchen Showcase did not allow enough filler between the oven and the french door refrigerator. The fridge hit the oven handles. Kitchen Showcase requires the specifications for all appliances when designing a kitchen to ensure proper operation of all cabinets and appliances, as they should. I had to go through the trouble of getting a new single door refrigerator to avoid the oven handles hitting. My appliance suite only had one option for single door which was a built in Jenn-Aire at an additional cost to me of $3,416. I requested compensation of 2/3 of the additional cost, or $2,277 (I am a reasonable consumer). Kerri Schuchholz, VP of Sales & Design, confirmed to me by phone and email on 2/18/22 that she agreed that I should receive compensation of $2,277 for this issue. As of 6/14/22 I have yet to receive compensation although I have been told the check is "in the mail". Pictures of french door and single door replacement refrigerator are attached. 3) The Kitchen Craft cabinets on the showroom floor at The Kitchen Showcase have Birch drawer boxes (picture attached). The quote I received states "Birch drawer boxes" (picture attached). The drawer boxes with the cabinets I received are made from Poplar (picture attached). The Poplar drawer boxes are an ugly orange color. In addition, Poplar is significantly less durable than Birch. Poplar has a Janka hardness of 540/4000; whereas Birch has a Janka hardness of 1260/4000. As you can see from the attached picture, the drawer boxes I have are not durable (notice scratch down the side). I requested my drawer boxes be replaced with Birch drawer boxes. Kerri Schuchholz has discussed this issue with Kitchen Craft and Kitchen Craft said they are unable to get Birch at this time. I expect Kitchen Showcase to install Birch drawer boxes in my kitchen or provide me with a sizeable refund to compensate me for this decline in quality. I did not agree to Poplar drawer boxes when I ordered my cabinets. 4) A recent Google review is written by an executive level employee of Kitchen Showcase providing the company with a 5 star review. This is clearly a conflict of interest. 5) My contractor and designer are no longer working with the Kitchen Showcase due to issues they have encountered on other clients. The original date of this review is 6.14.22. I will update this review to reflect updates. Katherine Burns

We gave Kitchen Showcase 2 stars mostly because the sales rep did such a poor job on the design and follow-through for our new kitchen (however, everyone else there, from the delivery driver to the service tech, has been great). The cabinets are great, but the process of getting them repaired and up to the standard that we ordered has taken over six months and been needlessly stressful. If you go with KS, we recommend the following:1. Make sure you understand the details on the plans; they use codes for the different drawers/cabinets on the drawings, so have them describe what exactly each code stands for;2. If you have special instructions for inside the drawers/cabinets (like slide-out shelves, slow-close, etc.), make sure those are described in the plans as well. We didn’t, and we paid for it in big delays.3. If your kitchen install starts to “go south”, make sure you contact the manager who oversees the Sales team to get the issues resolved.Ordered the cabinets in May 2021, and they were installed in October 2021, at which point it was obvious some things had gone wrong:1. Received TWO pullout cabinets for the trash and recycling, when we only ordered one. We have a small 12’ X 20’ kitchen, so we couldn’t understand how the rep would think we needed two. The rep wouldn’t take responsibility for it, but over a dozen calls and months later, we got that resolved by getting the two pullout shelves we ordered originally.2. The pantry as delivered had just standard shelves, not the slide outs we ordered. When asked why they were missing, the sales rep said to the effect that “there were a lot conversations going on and I didn’t have a chance to write everything down”, implying it was somehow our fault that it wasn’t clear. (?!)3. Ordered a double swing-out shelf in a lower cabinet. After it was installed, we discovered the rep has mismeasured it, in that the cabinet door was partially blocked by the fridge, so the swing outs could only come out half way. Four months later, the rep agreed to credit our account for the cost of having our GC fix the error.4. Small 9” drawer came as a standard close when it was supposed to be slow-close. It took SIX months for the rep to finally send out one of their service guys to install slow close sliders, and this only after we alerted his manager. During that interval, though, the rep told us it was 1) on a truck on its way, 2) in the store somewhere and then finally, 2 weeks ago, that 3) the manufacturer doesn’t make their 9” drawers slow close! We understand that "to err is human", but the fact that our rep didn’t take responsibility for the errors and then stopped responding to our emails, calls and texts in the midst of trying to get these errors rectified made the experience very unpleasant. We recommend that if you go with KS, request one the reps mentioned in the 5 star reviews. Not surprisingly, our rep was not mentioned in any of them.Services: Kitchen design

We had a room that we were converting into a mudroom and wanted a design with floor-to-ceiling cabinets along with some specialty features. Linda Olson was our designer, and she is fabulous! She listened to our wants and needs, came up with a great plan, and had a keen attention to detail. It was evident that Linda truly cared about the project. She did her best to make sure we were happy with the product and the cabinet installation. We love our new mudroom and would absolutely recommend Linda Olson and Kitchen Showcase!Services: Remodeling

Very bad experience with a poor sales person. They have a show room with cabinets that have glass yet cannot sell you a cabinet with glass. They charge to come to your home, then change their design multiple times because the person who came to your home doesn't know what they are doing. Don't waste your time!
