We had the best experience with Tate & Team at our customer event in Denver. She helped us outfit 12 VIPS, while creating the most elevated 1:1 experience for them. That was no easy task, but we're still hearing great feedback from them! We are so grateful for her professionalism, organization, and willingness to build the experience around our vision. My husband is 6 foot 7 and has a hard time finding clothing that matches his height and slender frame. Tate, did a fantastic job finding, matching, fitting and preparing a custom suit for our wedding and an outfit for our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. I can’t put into words how his physical comfort radiated into his confidence and relaxation on our wedding day. It truly meant the world to both of us. He looked perfect from head to toe.✨

Jim Ziemer is hands down one of the most thoughtful and detail driven people I have met. Review for Peter Caamano Extremely Disappointed and Frustrated
I am beyond disappointed with the service provided by Peter Caamano from Tom James. We paid for a fully custom-made suit, including a brand new shirt and shoes, for an incredibly important occasion — my mom's wedding.
Not only did Peter delay the delivery of the shirt and shoes until just one week before the wedding, but he also informed us last minute that he “couldn’t find the shoes” and “couldn’t find the shirt.” To make matters even worse, he had the audacity to bring me a used shirt instead of the new, custom one that we paid for and he didn’t even bother to remove the dry-cleaning tag from it. That is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional on every level.
Tom James Company needs to look into this. Peter Caamano is not representing your brand with the professionalism or care that your clients deserve. His lack of communication, poor follow-through, and disrespect for our event reflect extremely poorly on your company.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Tate Zigerman/Hout for the past two and a half years, and I can confidently say she has completely transformed the way I approach fashion. As someone who has always enjoyed building a wardrobe and wearing a sharp suit, I used to rely on off-the-rack pieces tailored to fit. That all changed when I was introduced to Tate—now I’m hooked on custom clothing!
Whenever I have an idea, Tate is quick to respond with thoughtful options and honest, stylish recommendations. Her eye for detail is unmatched, and every piece she’s helped me design turns out incredible and I receive compliments all the time. On the rare occasion that an item needs an adjustment, she handles it right away without hassle, which I especially appreciate given my busy schedule.

I reached out to Tate after attending a work conference and realizing that my professional wardrobe made me feel less than confident. I have an athletic build that makes most workwear look boxy on me, and I’ve always admired women who wear clothes that look like they were made just for them. I described all of this to Tate prior to our first appointment. She took everything I shared and got me the suit and blazer of my dreams!
I really appreciated how Tate showed me every price point and option available so I could choose what worked best for me. I knew going into this that it would be an investment, and I loved that she was open about what to expect. My favorite part of our first appointment was how Tate kept me grounded, suggesting I start with a basic suit in a neutral color to establish a solid base for future pieces. She even went above and beyond by showing me some linings that matched my tattoos.
I saw a few reviews mentioning that Tom James was newer to female suits, but I can confidently say that, at least in my case, they’ve figured out the correct measurements for achieving a feminine fit. I cannot wait for my next business trip where I can show off my new suit and finally feel like I’m not playing dress-up.
A word of advice to anyone concerned about the sales tactics of Tom James or similar companies: know what you’re getting into before diving in. Yes, you’ll be asked for referrals, and if you love your items, they’ll likely show you more options. As with any company that employs independent sellers, there are fantastic representatives and less-than-fantastic ones. Do your research—read their reviews, check out their social media accounts, and make sure their personality aligns with yours. That’s the best way to ensure you’re working with someone who understands your needs.
I followed Tate, admired her personal style, and noticed we’re in the same professional age range. That gave me confidence that this would be a successful partnership—and it absolutely was
