I always find it interesting when Google reviews range from 1-5. After looking at the most recent reviews it is apparent to me the turnover of new management at VPI and the woes that come along with this.I signed up , as a provider, almost a year ago. I have used several other compounding pharmacies in CO and know there are many options nationwide. I was referred to VPI by a trusted provider/colleague who had done business with them, for several years.My experience with them has been very good. No one is perfect. Emails are responded to with in 24 hours for questions that either myself or my patients have. I have left VM for VPI pharmacist and gotten a response based on what I needed (urgent or can wait)I have had several challenges, due to a complex patient panel, that have required stopping a delivery ASAP . The VPI pharmacist (I asked for ASAP) called me back within an hour and harm was averted.There have been a few billing concerns but these have been resolved with a phone call to Beth. My patients have contacted me with concerns and I have intervened as needed (not often- maybe twice) . Problem resolved.The VPI Pharmacists are a delight to talk to and offer education in regards to peptides, compounding, and common practice. Brian and I have had some in depth conversations that have helped shape my further research and practice.Social media can make or break a locally owned company. Sad to see that other providers and clients, whom have used VPI for years, are not understanding of our current world milieu and feel the need to harm businesses by posting a very negative 1 star .We all have room for improvement. Let's work together- especially in healthcare!!

On a personal and business level VPI IS TOP LEVEL SERVICE!!We have several compounding prescriptions done for our office and patients!! We have had no issues when it comes to billing, picking up medication or medication in stock.Communication from pharmacy staff on verification of prescriptions or necessary information is usually within a few hours.The billing department is always responsive usually within the hour for any questions or issues I may have!!I would not hesitate to give them a 5 star review, they make my job easier and deserve it!

Our company has been pleased with VPI compounding pharmacy.The pharmacists are very knowledgeable and competent. VPI products are high quality. Our patients have seen great results with weight loss, energy, TRT/HRT. The turn around time is 7 to 10 days so our clinic makes sure to order in advance to allow enough time for refills.

Just so you know, VPI compounding pharmacy is not a trustworthy pharmacy. I was paying for injectable testosterone and they were using MCT oil for a binder. I have now connected with a new compounding pharmacy and it’s not FDA approved to use MCT oil as a binding oil. They only use MCT oil in animals and I have been using it for months. I should have known when it was nearly impossible to do business with them and it took months to get refills filled and also their reviews are extremely accurate unfortunately. I would not recommend this pharmacy.

I ordered from this pharmacy and was double charged.When I contacted them months later about the double charge, they agreed to refund part of the double charge. They told me that the price is different now for the medication I got several months ago! How does that make sense to change the price months later because of an error on the pharmacy charging me over $350 extra on my credit card.

I requested scripts from my provider on 11/29, but was told VPI did not received them until 12/4. I called VPI on 12/19 and learned that the scripts have not been processed yet and they could not give a me ETA. This is the second time (2 of 2, which is 100% at this point) that it has taken longer than the typical 7 to 10 day business day turn around.

We have been ordering from VPI for 2+ years. I'm sad to say that this place is a train wreck. Staff turnover makes it complicated to connect with, and get service from, a rep. The turn around time to get product is weeks. They are unable to communicate in house so requests aren't honored (shipping changes, etc). I have tried for years to make it work but we (as a business) have slowly moved to use other pharmacies. I believe their intention is true and I've had some well meaning reps over the years but ultimately they may be growing too quickly or mismanaged and it leads to a very poor customer experience.

6 months ago this place was great. In the last couple months getting a script has been impossible. I have called, left messages and I have not received a call back about a script I submitted the week before Thanksgiving. Very dissatisfied with everything at this point. I will not place another order with them.

I was charged more than double (close to $1,000) for a prescription that had always been $400, and the price of the medication had not changed.

There is no customer service to speak of. Doctor sent an rx to them at the end of September, 2 days later when I tried to find out about picking it up, I was told they were "still waiting for pricing". I then had to leave town for 2 weeks in early October, and when I returned, I called twice about my rx. Both times I was put on hold and told they still didn't have pricing, but "someone will call you by the end of the day with info". Never received a call back, so finally had my rx moved to a different pharmacy, where it was ready for me in 3 days. I lost over a month of the rx I was supposed to be on for the sake a medical procedure necause of the total lack of communication by this pharm6, which in turn hindered the procedure itself. The prescription was sent to them on/around September 26, and only got an automated text from VPI about the rx on November 21. Almost 2 months later. Additionally, learned from my regular vet that they stopped sending pet compounds to VPI because so many owners jad the same experience of never getting communication or the meda from them in a timely manner

VPI has been able to cater to the specific needs of our clinic and our patients. They were able to help formulate unique medication blends and delivered faster than most compound pharmacies we've used in the past. On top if this, their team really DOES care to take care of your needs.
