**Updated review for Pharmacy** I do not recommend using this place. I gave a four star review before but after being brushed off on the phone today, id strongly suggest avoiding them. I now have a total wait time of more than 72 hours on essential meds due to the Pharmacy waiting for a shipment, afterwhich more recent requests were filled before mine. When the shipment actually arrived, I was told I had to wait 4 additional hours because they needed to fill "200 scripts ahead of me" while the manager was staring right at my meds and it would've taken him 5 minutes to fill the script. His logic of requests needing to be filled in the order received made zero sense because my initial request was submitted three days prior and it would've been ready had the Pharmacy not been waiting on a shipment. So, 200 orders, most of which were probably submitted after mine, were filled ahead of it. The guy was likely just too stressed out to want to take the time to fill it..I now understand from my previous review what's causing this place to be such a source of stress for everyone. They don't fill orders in order they were received or plan ahead and order things they know customers will need. My Pharmacy up north would have filled my med right away *and* made sure they had it on hand before telling me they could fill it when I initially wanted it three days ago, instead of waiting until the last second to tell me it was out. The issue is, most likely, management is over worked, burnt out on their job, and doing the bare minimum, which ends up stressing everyone out. Ive spoken with other staff here in similar situations and they didn't tell me to wait four hours though. So it might just be this one Manger feeling burnt out. And when I've called on some days, they will continually hang up the phone and let it ring. This went on for 2 hours once and I can't help but wonder if it was the same employee doing it.This is a review for the Pharmacy.PRO'S:Great Staff.Good customer care.CONS:Leaders have abandoned the store.Stores farther North with the same staffing shortages and high demand have half the turnaround time, better reviews, and happier employees.Burnt out employeesUnnecessary high wait times.The Pharmacy staff is amazing and doing the best they can. They're always willing to take time to answer my questions and help me with my complicated prescription problems.However, *I believe the Pharmacy/Store may be poorly managed at some level.* The staff and supervisors are great, but somewhere up the chain of leadership, someone is putting undue pressure on this poor team. How do I know this? My previous Walgreens Pharmacy in Lakewood was equally staffed and equally overwhelmed with orders, yet, the wait times were far less, staff was happier and I could get a hold of someone to ask questions any hour of the day. If I put in a request,they'd have it turned around in an hour or less *during their busiest times.* For this store, it can take four to six hours with meds they have on hand.Even though it seems like problem is the Pharmacy is suffering from staffing issues and high demand...I believe these are not their core problem. It strongly feels to me like someone in the chain of leadership has abandoned this poor store and doesn't bother to help them as long as they survive and do the bare minimum. They then probably use the excuse of high demand and low staff to their own leaders, even when other stores in the same circumstances are preforming far better.I would love to ask the Pharmacy manager from the Lakewood store to sit with the leadership here and tell them how they reduced their turnaround times and have happier customers, despite a similar workload and staff.These poor Pharmacy workers need a break or the store will start to see even more turnover. At the very least maybe a workers union would help. I hate to see anyone so burdened and overwhelmed, but thats the vibe I get from everyone here. It hangs over the place like a haze.

30 minutes wait for a pre-scheduled appointment past our scheduled time - they’re either understaffed or undertrained at the pharmacy window. Not the first time at this location. I know, fool me twice… There won’t be a third time.

I'm done with this location! The people are obviously miserable working here and it shows! Scheduled a Covid booster and Shingles shot over 2 weeks ago. Arrive for my appointment and have to wait for 15 minutes before I'm able to check in. During checkin I picked up 2 prescriptions also and was greeted by the most unhappy Pharmacy tech ever. Waited another 5 minutes when was called up to fill out the paper work - same unhappy tech. Submitted the paperwork and returned it and waiting another 10 minutes before being called up and told they were out of the Shingles vaccine. If my appointment was in the system for 2 weeks - how did they not plan for enough OR why didn't they let me know in advance. Took work off for the afternoon knowing the effects. Now I get to do it all over again. AND when I approached the manager about my frustrations (not the first time in recent months with this location) she just smirked and said sorry, not our fault. With the managers attitude, guessing that is why this location has slid downhill and doesn't show any signs of coming back - I'm done!

Pharmacy workers are decent if you’re there in-person, but don’t bother calling. Tried to call yesterday and today with something that could be handled over the phone. Both days, after waiting in queue, they picked up the phone and placed me back on hold without saying anything - twice each day - then picked up and hung up on me, both days, again without actually answering the call. Infuriating. You guys are literally responsible for people’s health, and yet you can’t be bothered to answer a phone.

Severely understaffed pharmacy. Showed up for my appointment at 5:30 to get my Covid/flu shot. Waited over an hour to get them despite having appointment. Thankfully the staff working were very friendly and doing their best. Feel bad for them.

The experience at this store was horrible. Most of the items we needed were out of stock and we were met with empty shelves in most aisles.When we walked into the store we heard the employee (who was at the photo counter) advise the customer that she was the only employee working in the store.When we finished shopping, the checkout area was empty of both employees and customers. Therefore, we proceeded over to the photo counter (where the one employee was located) to check out. We had a two person wait in front of us which we were fine with.When we got to the counter, the employee advised us that we would need to follow her to the checkout area. When we got to the checkout area, other customers had come in the interim and were now there waiting for a clerk to check them out.Therefore, we were placed at the end of the line again while she served the other customers now in front of us.Due to this store's management's inability to staff the store, we were placed into a time-wasting environment with no apologies ever issued. Making the situation even worse is that most of the items we needed to buy were out of stock.Overall a very disappointing experience. Save your time and buy elsewhere.

Pharmacists are awesome! They are always helpful and the hours fit my busy schedule. Vaccines with appointments are done best. Photo department for prints and passport pictures great. Always a unique niche for shopping

This pharmacy is the absolute worst. We've been getting our prescriptions from walgreens for many years, and never had issues until this location. Our Doctor sent over a vital prescription numerous times, and all we got from the staff was, 'We're still waiting on the Doctor.' When my wife tried calling, she waited on hold for 12 minutes, until someone just picked up and immediately hung the phone up. Needless to say, we have switched to CVS.

I wish I could give 0 stars but this is the absolute worst pharmacy. Long lines with terrible service. Literally everyone in line somehow had issues with their prescriptions. Coincidence or horrible management? I put my money on the latter. Avoid at all cost!

I had an issue with my photos and I had to call the store to have it fixed. John was wonderful and helped me right away fix the photos and had them reprinted immediately! Such a great staff

Just got a pcr covid test here. The technician at the window was fast, courteous, professional, and great at instructing us. I'm visiting from PA. This covid test took me 10 minutes total. I've never done a test in PA that took less than 90 minutes. Way to go, Walgreens!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received. The ok'd lady working the register has no business having a job. She was curt with me, said she "didn't know what to tell me" when I showed her my $10.22 credit in Walgreens cash, until another employee (presumably a manager) came to her aid. I showed him in my app where my reward credit was, and despite having changed my old phone number to my new one three times each online, in the app, and in-person at Walgreens stores, it was still incorrect. I told him I called customer service and he said "yeah they're not helpful at all." He then told me to make an online order for pick-up, which I did, sent it to the store I was physically standing in, and the app sent the order to an entirely different store over 50 miles away. He did not help me with my transaction whatsoever, and said "that's not my fault, there's nothing I can do." Absolutely garbage store, company, and employees. Very telling that the three people in front of me in line also were there dude to returns or wrong orders! I will never shop Walgreens again, especially this store. Also, they use plastic bags

Amelie, I think the spelling was that way. She's brand new and ready to work! Super confident and isn't afraid to ask for assistance! Great job! You made my experience amazing! To the manager assisting her, thank you so much for being patient and kind! This is definitely my neighborhood Walgreens!

Very rude pharmacist on staff here! I didn't catch the pharmacist name, but she was very rude with me this morning, and I will be filing future prescriptions at a different pharmacy.

The drive thru pharmacy is nice but I've had way better customer service at other pharmacies. Maybe it's better when they aren't struggling with covid?
