“First time there. Thanks to Google, easy to find. In cozy neighborhood. I was there for a security presentation instead of a service. Good presentation from CSPD.”

“My favorite place to go and receive and worship the Living God right now <3 <3 <3Update: still here, and still loving it. We have some challenges at home that keep us from participating as much as we'd like to in the parish community and activities/social areas, but despite that, the experience of this church and congregation as a place of holy, reverent, and communal worship is only getting better and better as time goes on.My favorite things are: the wide interior that makes you feel like you are in a cathedral that befits a deity like our God, while at the same time the clear and strong sound system allows me to hear clearly no matter where we sit. Father Baron's amazingly mind bending homilies, that somehow manage to incorporate philosophy, Catholic Theology, Christology, and a sense of empathetic humanity (plus more) into a compact form that quenches my thirst for ever more spiritual understanding, and leaves me thinking, "gee, he should write that down/put that on the internet/publish/share that," the currently wonderfully wide diversity of colors, shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds of the congregation, the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament that is accessible to anyone (ask the front desk during business hours for more info), which sits in a beautiful space flanked by two reverent angels which makes it easy to remember you are in the presence of the Divine One when there, and the fact that some big liturgical events, like yearly Confirmation, bring many different people and priests and bishops there from time to time, makes it feel current, timely, exciting, charismatic, and yet grounded firmly in the day in, day out, reverent, obedient, loving, transformative reality of Jesus Christ and our Most High God. If all of the other fun active community stuff was swept away, it would still be a place of quiet, faithful devotion, and that makes it quite magical to me. It's almost as if it were a contemplative monastery that includes a congregation and activities - it's heart is otherworldly and deep and peaceful and faithful, and it's people are active and devoted and local, all at the same time. May God always make it so here!Edit: Fr. Baron is now head of a diocescan-wide program, and I think is temporily in Rome, as well, but all of the other seminarians and priests here are just as wonderful and insightful and reverent in their own ways, too!”
