I bought an LPG gas tank from Maverik gas station on Arapahoe rd Aurora. Two days later after connecting it and preparing to bbq, I discovered it was faulty. I took it back and was basically told to get lost. It is not their policy to accept faulty Amerigas tanks. They told me to contact Amerigas who told me to back to the gas station who already told me get lost. BOTH, PATHETIC EXAMPLES of “ I have your money now screw you!” mentality. I have called Amerigas EIGHT times. They REFUSE to get involved and send me back to Maverik who send me back to Amerigas who send me back to Maverik who send me back to Amerigas. In the meantime these two unscrupulous businesses who have my money are quite happy for me to be in posession if this faulty tank regardless of the safety risk.

Absolutely horrible customer service and response times. We just went for 5 days without propane - which meant zero heat and our house was 52 degrees, no hot water, no stove, washing machine, dryer, etc. The cheaper option of “outsourcing customer service” will be costing you our business.

This is the absolute worst company I've ever had to deal with wasted a combined total of alsomst ten hours on hold and I never once received any services from waited a week with no propane to heat the house in the winter no hot water finally spent a half of day on hold and being bounced around just to find out when the safety insurance check they needed to do was they told me I had to have somebody 18 or older there to let them in. They gave me a time frame which they never showed up for. I called another company and within an hour they were on their way to my house to fill up my propane. I called AmeriGas back. Was on hold for another good couple hours to tell them to go ahead and cancel my service which they then bounced me to somebody else which I was on hold for an hour before speaking with anybody. Told them don't bother coming out. It's already filled. I don't want to do business or have your services and then about 6:00 in the evening I get an email saying that they just did their safety assurance check which there's no way because there was nobody to let them in the house like they needed to So I then had to call back and yet spent another hour or two on hold to find out why they lied and said that they did that when they clearly hadn't. She's couldn't explain but went ahead and made sure that my policy was canceled and that there would be no bills since they'd clearly lied and not done anything. Anyways, and then I receive a bill for $102 for a safety assurance check which they never actually did. They're liars. They're a thieves and they're the worst customer service in the world to deal with. They act like your time isn't important. You will spend countless hours on hold just to try to speak to anybody and then that person will have no information and you'll spend more countless hours on hold. Save yourself, major headache and a huge portion of your life. Trying to deal with these people and do not do business with them. They're horrible, horrible, horrible

Worst customer service ever. The phone number leads you to a call center that can never help you. I feel I aged 10 years waiting to talk to a supervisor that I gave up after 25 min. If you really care about your customers then GET A LOCAL NUMBER!!!!!

terrible customer service. customer service barely speaks English. on hold for over an hour. Waiting for a supervisor is impossible. Getting delivery is impossible even if you give them a weeks notice. I wouldn't even give them 1 start but it makes you in order post review.

Amerigas just went above and beyond. This company has improved so much in the last few years. Specifically, I want to shout out Rooster our delivery guy who filled us up, repaired a leak, and went and turned on all of my appliances. Rooster rocks and so does Amerigas.

Very bad experience. They never care and resolve the issues. I would like to give 0 star if possible. I am so disappointed with their customer service because they just ignored my problem and never cared the customer!

This review is specifically for a gentleman named Wayne (Gypsum Colorado) with Amerigas. Wayne came out to look at one of our tanks to ensure it wasn’t leaking, after normal business hours, and made the drive from Newcastle. During that process he educated us on so many different things involving propane. Wayne went above and beyond the service call, even installing a pigtail so that we could transfer propane from one tank that we didn’t use, to a tank that we do use to heat the property our tenants live on. This gentleman is top notch!! Exceptional service!! Exceptional education!! Exceptional experience for my wife and I. Thank you Wayne, you deserve a huge bonus!!!

I called for propane delivery. It was delivered within 2 days. Driver was very professional and courteous!
