It will be delivered over the weekend and I will have more to say about that, but the in-store experience itself was real easy, real comfortable. “I traveled to Mattress Firm at 1000 S. Colorado Blvd today “strictly on an information gathering expedition”. This store was my first stop in search of a fairly nice mattress/adjustable frame combination for my partner’s Christmas present. I/we were greeted by a very friendly young man by the name of Matt who just happened to be the stores manager. Fast forward…I walked out of my first place purchasing two (2) Beautyrest Black series three mattresses w/the Sleepy Elite adjustable frame. The way that Matt took his time to answer our every question, his personal professional insight, his expertise in showing us many different choices and most of ALL his earnest desire to earn our business was “THE WINNING COMBINATION”. If you are a serious shopper for any mattress size or price range you have to go speak with this young man. We wanted this purchase to be of consistent quality so we returned to the store in March of 2024 and our consultant (Rob Osgard) from 2000 was still with HL. After listening to our desires, he produced a hand drawn rendering of the pieces. When we met with him, Rob offered his unvarnished perspective of the options (color, leather, arm style etc.) which we found invaluable. We appreciated being able to benefit from his experience in the business and knowledge of the brands we were considering. Price is what we paid. Value is what we received from Rob and Howard Lorton.”

“This place is unique in the classical sense of the word. Even walking from the parking lot to the buildings feels like a day trip to a little museum or a different sort of botanical garden. Each nook and cranny seems carefully cultivated to remind you why your backyard space should be a sanctuary, a place for relaxing, away from a busy world and glowing screens. I like to go there just for the inspiration.
The selection is colorful, with each authentic piece having its own character. I've gotten a bird bath from here, numerous pots and other cute tchotchkes that have made my backyard an extended room in my home. Some of my pieces have been a little more expensive but the quality is what I've paid for, knowing they aren't cheaply made. The staff is friendly and genuinely is invested in the place. The experience overall is worth taking a trip, if only to window shop and get ideas... bet ya won't go home empty-handed!”

“Les was amazing! I walked in and was looking around before he came to talk to me and see what I was looking for. One of the couches on the floor was a beautiful velvet. Fun and perfect size. He didn’t pressure me into buying it right then and there, but we just kind of talked about life while I sat on the couch and enjoyed how comfy it is. After talking for a bit, I decided this was the couch. It was exactly what I wanted and he gave me a great deal on it. Also, the movers were nice and the couch was unharmed being shipped to my place. Definitely recommend as they are all super nice and they have a couch for everybody’s taste”

After a couple of years of comfort our toggle switch broke on our recliner. Trey ( the store manager) came out to the house. Evaluated the problem and sent a crew in to replace the parts to new like condition.
