Mike worked on two projects for my mountain home. One was a built-in bunk bed with flip-down bedside tables and powder-coated railings. It was a challenging project due to the lack of square footage. But Mike had some great ideas which accommodated the space beautifully. The second project was a floating fireplace mantle not quite as challenging but took the work of an expert craftsman. Given that English isn't our first language, his patience in explaining the new vocabulary was truly appreciated.He offered a fantastic deal: a 4-month trial period where we could swap the mattress if needed. While the experience was largely positive, I do wish they had a broader selection of beds, pillows, and other bedding items. Overall, a very good experience that left us feeling well-informed and taken care of.”

“We were preparing to move to Englewood and furnish a small one bedroom apartment for six months until we figured out where to buy (insert comment about Denver housing market here :-)). After reading the various reviews and websites, Home Again was on my final list of four. The fifth stop would be ikea for what I couldn’t find used. I think if you are reading this review - there’s at least a 25% chance that you are about to be me.This was the only used furniture store where I ended up making purchases - and it was for about 75% of our needs. Isaac was friendly and personable from before I entered the store (he was working on some furniture in the parking lot). I walked around taking pictures of things and pricing to consider at the end of the day. We then talked. And he knows the Denver used furniture market - and in the best way, because he’s a good human. I told him I knew I’d be back for at least a couple things. See above for results.There was no pressure at all. And there is a LOT to choose from at all different price points. He delivers. In addition to a lot of great used furniture - know that he also sells *new* yes *new* good quality mattresses with manufacturer warranties.Thanks for a great experience, and making this transition go as well as it could Isaac. I know that we will be stopping back for some of the good stuff when we do get the house - and whenever we need some furniture.”

We got our two pieces…and ended up filling our home with gorgeous, well-made furniture and rugs. “I rarely write reviews, but after repeatedly receiving such quality service for close to 7 years, I felt I had to write something about Smart Space Murphy and Wall Bed Units. 6-7 years ago I moved into a 2 bdrm apartment and I thought a Murphy bed might be a good choice for a single man. Steve Beckman, the owner, came and measured my space and noted my ceiling was 1/4" too low to install a Bookcase/hidden Murphy bed. But he also recognized how it would look great and meet my needs so well for my limited functional space. He went back to the office and his team milled down the unit so it fit perfectly. Over the last several years I repeatedly have guests tell me how beautiful it is and how comfortable it is to sleep on.Steve also built a pantry closet for me in an apartment "dead space". Initially, the configuration was not quite what I expected. His crew quickly corrected it and has served me very well. Steve also built me a 2 drawer cabinet for my vintage LPs, which matched my other furniture. Lastly, this month they built 2 small bookcases for me to match the years old Murphy bed design. They fit perfectly. I could not be more happy with their work? Yes, this team does excellent work with Murphy beds, but they also do so much more which is both attractive and functional! “I met DoubleButter co-owner Dexter Thornton at a local Denver small business seminar. He was giving a talk about modern design. After his talk I took a few minutes to chat with him and found out more about DoubleButter. I then checked out a few of their pieces which were displayed at a RiNo store and also went with my husband to their manufacturing location to check out more of their furniture. It was at that time that we met co-owner David Larabee. Both Dexter and David are such nice guys, and so honestly dedicated to their craft. We became pretty smitten with their work so we asked them to build a custom Sheep End media cabinet for our home. Due to an error on my part, the piece that they delivered had the wrong color of powder-coated steel. David offered to replace the powder-coated steel pieces and although we told him that we were happy to pay for the change order, they made the change and did not charge us. Not only were we impressed with their great service but we are absolutely thrilled with our media cabinet. Beautiful solid walnut with steel legs and pulls. Incredible workmanship. We love it so much that it was a no-brainer to ask them to build us another piece - a custom Sheepadillo credenza. We were pleased to see DoubleButter furniture pieces featured at the 2015 Sunset Image Home in Hilltop. Their Grasshopper Lounge Chair was also featured on the cover of Autumn 2015 Issue of 5280 Home magazine. Reasonably priced, quality workmanship, unique design, locally owned, excellent service. I highly recommend double butter to anyone who loves modern furniture.”

“Beautiful chair. It's high quality from the frame to the leather to the pushback mechanism. It's very smooth. The leather is soft and the cushions are firm but not hard so you feel very well supported. I'm very happy with my purchase and working with Modern Bungalow was great. I had reservations about ordering a chair from Colorado when I lived in Southern California, but the owners of Modern Bungalow made the process smooth and simple from cradle to grave.
