Britelock is poorly managed, of which there is no staff on site. Every time they do some internal system change, they don't notify the customer, and they lose all your info in the process. For example, they recently switched payments over to Uhaul and messed up the autopay system, finding out today that my bill was late because BRITELOCK turned off my autopay. If I can find some time this summer, I will move my stuff over to a more professional storage facility. This place is a joke.

I put my things in storage for a year with an agreed upon rate. It went up three times over the first year. I wasn't in town so I couldn't really change locations, but I would have. The place was fine, but I heard many things about theft. Our things were not bothered. It is very tight to drive in also. Our price increased over $70 per month from when we started.

They changed my lock without reason. The gate didn’t open to let me out one time. I hade to climb the fence. Two weekend trips ruined due to no access and changed lock combo. This last time I had to leave all my stuff outside my storage unit because they said it could be 48 hours before they could unlock it. This is gonna be my last month paying these scammers. Plus the units fill with sand dust from the gravel pit mine.

Storage facility was in a good location and secured. We checked our unit after a massive snowstorm thinking it potentially would have a leak, and everything in our unit was dry. The only flaw is there is no on site office in case you did need something, and communication with the site manager directly took some phone tag. All in all they were able to help out and it was a good experience to store extra stuff while we moved and settled into the new house

Manager is very friendly and helpful. The only reason I left was the continued rent increases under new ownership.

Nice people and clean unit. The reason for the missing star is the multiple rent increases and automatic insurance.

Ice is worse than ever. We almost fishtailed into a building going at a snail pace. Nearly slipped and fell on my back carrying totes from the unit into the truck ? They did some renovations not long ago (which left everything in our unit covered in dust/dirt), but have yet to fix the drainage issue. But monthly prices keep going up…

Snow removal here is awful. My unit has been snowed in and snow-removal efforts have just piled it higher in front of all north facing units. Chipped over 4 inches of ice just to get my door loose. Poorly designed drainage. Requests for better snow removal ignored. Now it has melted and refrozen and entered the unit then re-frozen to damage my stored items. Do not rent here or at least not in a north facing units.

Unmanned property with little security. Anyone can walk though the gate. Go on a shopping spree with an angle grinder/bolt cutter.Don’t make plans. This site is not managed in any way. All done remotely. If they give you incorrect info you won’t be able to access your unit and no one will assist in a timely manner. All calls go to a phone center, so if there’s ever an issue it’ll take a few days.
