All the reviews are accurate, unfortunately. Rude staff, SLOW fills of scripts, and the line today was TEN DEEP and they would not open the second window. Albertsons, fix this!

Whomever answered the phone for me on 7/7/25 at 8:35 AM for a Rx status was absolutely rude!!! This isnât the first time Iâve experienced rude customer service here before either. My call was answered and immediately put on hold. When she came back to the phone, I told her I needed the status of a new Rx. She rudely asked for my information, and I provided it. She then again spoke to me in a rude tone and said the Rx wasnât ready until the next day due to insurance and said thatâs why I havenât heard from them. Then, she just hung up on me.
This was just the start of her shift. I feel for those who have to deal with her the remainder of the day. I get places are short staffed, but still that is no excuse for poor customer service. To the manager, please consider providing some training in customer service. Not all are equipped with it.

Clearly they need more staff
They are not helpful
Waited 45 minutes for simple prescription
Long lines
They close for lunch which sometimes is the only available time to pick up medication

Like most people I would give 0 stars if possible. If they are short staffed then Safeway needs to fix that. It takes 2 days AND a phone call to get meds filled. But first you have to call 3 times to try to get someone to actually talk to you and tell you theyâll fill them and have them ready in 15 mins for them to not be ready. I guess if youâre ok waiting for days for your prescriptions to be filled then thatâs cool. Unfortunately my insurance does not have King Soopers in network or I would go there.

Called about refilling a prescription that is old, I was wondering if my doctor had sent them the yes, on refilling it. The woman on the phone was very rude and not informative. She interrupted me while I was speaking and asked for information I could have given her beforehand. Then rudely hung up on me.

Stay away! Dentist confirmed script was electronically sent in and verified receipt. I wait 20 minutes to be told they donât have it. I call to confirm as follow up and they continue to place on hold. Maybe the sale or closure of this location will wake these people up to what customer service is!

Safeway is always clean, but the pharmacy always takes so long to fill a prescription. Sometimes it takes till the next day. If you are sick, you need your meds the same day.The people behind the counter are friendly.

Although the staff members are typically kind and helpful, about 1 time out of 10 youâll get someone dismissive, rude, and massively unhelpful. Today marks the second time theyâve neglected to fill my heart medication (not something you want to go without!) despite the fact that it was supposedly on the docket to be filled since last Thursday. So this Rx has been sitting for 5 days with no attention even though their automated phone recording said it would be filled by yesterday and NOW says itâs âbeing processedâ. So Iâm out of pills, and despite trying to contact someone for 3 straight days during their normal business hours, no one has picked up the phone and their voicemail box is full. Not filling cardiac prescriptions on time is a pretty abysmal way to run a pharmacy, so Iâm going to be switching to a more reliable pharmacy.

I really enjoy this local Safeway, it is always clean and tidy. Easy to find what you are looking for and the staff are friendly and helpful.
