Although the staff members are typically kind and helpful, about 1 time out of 10 you’ll get someone dismissive, rude, and massively unhelpful. Today marks the second time they’ve neglected to fill my heart medication (not something you want to go without!) despite the fact that it was supposedly on the docket to be filled since last Thursday. So this Rx has been sitting for 5 days with no attention even though their automated phone recording said it would be filled by yesterday and NOW says it’s “being processed”. So I’m out of pills, and despite trying to contact someone for 3 straight days during their normal business hours, no one has picked up the phone and their voicemail box is full. Not filling cardiac prescriptions on time is a pretty abysmal way to run a pharmacy, so I’m going to be switching to a more reliable pharmacy.

I really enjoy this local Safeway, it is always clean and tidy. Easy to find what you are looking for and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The pharmacy staff are amazing. Always kind, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. There can be a wait, but it's a small pharmacy in a larger served community. These folks have gone out of their way to help me with insurance, prescriptions, and understanding my needs and coverage, and making sure I have my medications.Everyone needs to be an advocate for themselves or have someone who can advocate for you with your healthcare; regardless if it's your PCP, your pharmacy etc.Being kind goes a long way.Grateful for my pharmacy.

I do not recommend. I have been trying to call for the past 3 days to check the status of my meds and no one has picked up the phone any time I have called (multiple times a day). I had a good experience over the past year I have been using this pharmacy, but they have really took a turn for the worst. Go somewhere else!

The staff seems like they do not want to be there. Every phone call I have had with a staff member since I’ve been going here they have been rude and short and I was just hung up on by one. I will be switching pharmacies and I suggest not making this your main place.

I consistently have a good experience at Safeway Pharmacy. Angela and Mary Kate are always going out of their way to serve us in anyway they can. The staff is friendly even on busy days. I have not had a pharmacy that I loved in long time! Thank you for all your hard work!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Every time I go in there I have run into issues. Either my RX is not ready despite saying it was, or they have issues with my RX and insurance. Most recently I called stating that I needed documentation of my flu shot, but could not come myself to pick it up. I called to ask if it was OK to have my husband get it for me and the tech said that would be no problem and took his information. When my husband got there he was told due to HIPPA he could not pick it up (which is not how that works) and they called me while he was there to tell me that, and would not take my verbal request as consent. The staff seems constantly overworked and under qualified to do their jobs. Because of that they come across as annoyed and rude. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs!

Literally the worst pharmacy ever. They will make you feel like the worst person ever for trying to use the drive-thru. So slow. When you do a refill over the app, be prepared to call because it will never get refilled. It sucks it’s one of the only places in the mountains to get meds refilled. Kinda stuck.

If you guys are that short staffed that you can't fill a prescription in less than 2 hours, please get more staff. And it's also not necessary to be rude to patients, especially after they've clearly just had surgery!

The pharmacy here claimed a prescription was not covered by insurance. Called insurance, totally covered. Found out after paying out of pocket so we went for reinbursment since it's within 7 days. They allow such things, they just refused to do it. I'd be careful with these people. They knew they were on a recorded call with insurance and began talking about both myself and the insurance caller in the background with a coworker. Theyre the type of pharmacy that causes over doses like the one that almost killed my nephew years ago.

I don’t understand the negative reviews here. I switched to Safeway Pharmacy about a year ago and I’m happy each and every time I go there. Kind, informative, helpful.

Rude, abrasive and incompetent. We dealt with a woman at about 4pm wednesday may 25 who refused to fill a prescription from our doctor, refused to offer a coherent explanation and refused to contact the doctor to facilitate. We’ve had it and will not return. Avoid them if at all possible.
