Where to start. We lived here for 3 years over 2 owners and 4 different managers. We always paid before we even bought food. Most people in the town knew us and know we pay our bills first. We'll the newest manager(who had already been let go before) is Tammy. She is just a horrible rude invasive person. Before you think I'm crazy, I have over 30 videos of her being harassing demanding and threatening. All because you won't let her be invasive. She has told almost everyone there currently that they owe around 6 months rent. All people who DO pay. I know them. Thing is she has only been back 2 months and can show no records of ANYTHING AT ALL. Not even w4s for employees. For 2 years straight She put us as tax exempt on payroll even though we didn't sign anything for tax exempt. She screwed our taxes completely. She tries to add on charges that are NOT in paperwork. The internet might work 2 hours out of the day. Mold in most rooms because it is under floors due to HORRIBLE plumbing. In the 3 years we lived here, absolutely nobody ever checked under floors or the whole attic of building. Plumbing has busted twice in 3 years. So idk how they get away with no inspections. She will talk about you to other people when she knows NOTHING about you. She is ALWAYS condescending. Almost the most Karen person I've ever met. So stay here at your own peril. You will leave less happy than you arrived. She also manages white eagle, quality inn, and a motel in Dolores. I would recommend never staying at these motels.

It should be zero stars. This place is permanently closed. I arrived at 6pm on Oct 13, and found out Aneth Lodge was sold and no longer an inn and to contact the booking agent. It had been sold about a month ago. All the booking sites from Trivago to Booking to Agoda did not notify the guests. There were plenty of angry and frustrated customers who had to find new lodging that night and this was the night before the annular eclipse so there were no vacancies in town nor any surrounding towns even the airbnbs. I luckily found one room due to a cancellation one and a half hours away by calling around.

We stayed at Mesa Inn Aneth Lodge for the night September 1st 2023. We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were updated and clean. Mountain style decor. Stuff was friendly and helpful.

Perfect road trip motel, especially if you're going to Mesa Verde. Felt very local and low-key. All one floor so you just park right in front of your door. Rooms were spacious. Close to everything in downtown Cortez and only 15 mins or so from the national park

Came here based off recent positive Google reviews and wasn't sure what to expect. I'm glad I stayed. The recent renovations were well done and the wooden decor makes it feel more homey than a regular hotel.It's not that far from downtown Cortez so you're close to stores and restaurants.I would definetely stay if you're near southwest Colorado, especially if you plan on going to Mesa Verde. Staff was friendly and I even at outside in the outdoor chair watching the road.It is a bit close to the road so it can be a but noisy when loud cars drive by but it also provides a sort of white noise to help sleep.Bathrooms are simple and roomy. I like it because it doesn't feel clutttered.

We stayed here July 9, 2023. What a pleasant stay! The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally kind and friendly. We will definitely bring staying here again when we're in the area. We were pulling a long boat and they were able to accommodate us parking in their overflow lot. We felt it was safe there and had no issues overnight.Rooms: The rooms were clean and comfortable and had been recently remodeled.Safety: We felt safe and secure at this motel.

Motel is much nicer then expected. They put alot of effort into remodeling the rooms. All modern conveniences, including USB slots on night stand. They still need to do some cosmetic touches and bigger TVs but the beds are awesome. All real wood furniture and bed frames.

I tend to stay here when I drive through because for one, they have been pet friendly for years. My first time staying there was probably in 2016 when I couldn’t find another place that actually advertised being pet friendly in the area. The staff are very friendly. They have remodeled and updated the rooms since my last stay in 2021. The rooms are clean with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. They also have a strong Wi-Fi connection. I will continue to stay here when I drive through. It’s also located near a park which is ideal to walk your fur-babies or take your kids!

The rooms are small but good enough for those wanting to stay overnight and cant find a cheaper place. Towels are dirty though and air conditioning doesnt cools up the room.
