I'm pretty sure this post office lost a check that the IRS sent me!! Went to the post office to gather it and the lady just told me it went back to sender!! I've been waiting ever since!! (that was a month ago) I was needing that money to support myself and my partner at our home since now we are living off of snack foods ..... Get your stuff together and stop loosing people's stuff bc we can't all be so fortunate like you people who work here!!

Native lady at the desk was very very rude and disrespectful. Not only to me but to everyone in there, I have seen several reviews and talked with several other individuals and EVERYONE of them say the same thing she was disgustingly rude! This individual needs fired, it’s been a long time coming!

There used to be a sign advertising over night delivery when I moved to Cortez. I was regularly sending mail and paying the overnight fee. After a few years of doing this the make clerk whispered that they really never offered overnight. Eventually the sign was covered with a cloth. So unprofessional. I tried to mail a package here once. The clerk told me the town and zip code did not exist. This was my sister address that I had mailed sent mail to for years. The clerk told me she could not take my package. I stopped in Kirtland, NM and mailed it with no problem. The clerk there told me she had heard the same thing from.other people from Cortez and she had no problem sending the email. The mail she helped me with arrived at its destination town 3 days layer. What is wrong with the people working at the Cortez post office?

Worst employees ever. Rude and unfriendly Completly unhelpful. Will use The Mial Room or Main Shipping. Take your buisness somewhere else if you can.

My daughter is signed up for Imagination Library and should have been getting 1 book per month. My post office delivered the first one (ignoring the sticker on it that said do not bend, they bent the book in half and shoved it into my mailbox) then stopped delivering them. I called them and they said they have no knowledge of me ever being a recipient of the books. When I told them I already gotten 1 and it had the right info on it for delivery the lady on the phone got quiet and didn't want to help me anymore. Then in July my mom sent me something, I got a slip in the mail stating I needed to pay postage to be able to pick it up. I went into the post office and the lady told be she had nothing for my address even after showing her the slip. Someone is either stealing my books and mail or they are completely negligent with people's belongings. It is ridiculous and frustrating. My baby girl is missing out on her books (we check the mail everyday hoping they will show up and they never do) My mom is also upset I couldn't get what she had sent me as it was a sentimental gift that was my little sisters that she wanted my daughter to have. This post office sucks.

My wife went in to mail a package, and the lady working there was very rude and treated her terribly. If you can, avoid this place.

They refuse to put packages in my back gate and then don't deliver my packages due to no safe spot. This has happened 3 times with no slip to go receive my package. They have horrible hours for anyone with a day job. And everytime I've gone in to get my undelivered packages, they've made me wait to the side to be helped. They've also refused and denied my husband from getting my packages.

The postwoman Aimee is disrespectful and lazy. Several times has left packages in the yard. Refused to leave packages because 1/4 inch of snow in driveway. When I tried to meet her at the mailbox she drove into my driveway straight past me and was rude when I said thank you.

We live in a small town so going to the PO is like visiting neighbors. The staff is always very efficient and helpful and friendly too!

I don’t even want to give 1 star. The native lady is consistently rude and unhelpful, almost purposefully. Her attitude seriously needs to be addressed. This last visit we left without sending the package and went to fedex instead!

If I could I'd give them a 0 star my postman for 691 wyoming st is rude and you go to the post office the ppl there are rude .they need to learn customer service. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB QUIT DONT BE RUDE.WE THE CUSTOMER PAY YOUR PAY CHECK .GET A CLUE

I depend on the P.O. for my income in my small business. NO incoming mail is delivered consistently. This is the 4th time I have had a client send me a check and it gets lost.Government employees do whatever they want because they know no one would fire them. Moving to FEDEX.
