“We had concerns that the engine on our vehicle may have been damaged due to a loose oil filter , which had allowed the oil to leak out. We delivered our vehicle to them and expressed our concerns. They sent a mechanic out right away and he confirmed there was a definite problem and that we had better get it in. Got it scheduled for sometime in Sept.(they are very busy, because they are good!), but they ran some diagnostics and determined that the engine compression was within spec's , but was throwing codes regarding misfiring (wasn't firing on all cylinders). They made the required repairs/replacements and had us back up and running within two days (got us in long before the scheduled date). We were very happy to have two vehicles running again and not having to share one vehicle. Excellent service! “Auto Radiator-Craig, CO My experience could not have been more optimal. Live in Stbt Spgs and after seeing a small 2" diameter spot underneath the radiator on the garage floor (without any hint of overheating), I brought our '14 D. Durango to a local garage (former owned by a well known local who recently departed back to Baltimore) for diagnosis and tire rotation. The cooling system was pressure tested and found to have a small leak on the driver's side corner and was quoted a figure of $1100 for installation of a new radiator. I was informed that nobody in town solders radiator anymore. I then spoke with Dean at Auto Radiator in Craig. He did say he would solder the radiator, depending on the location of the leak. About a week later I drove to Craig to leave the car w/ Dean and rode the clean and convenient Stbt Regional Transit bus back from Craig. The next day he said he re-pressure tested the cooling system to confirm the location but didn't think a solder would be successful since the it was right where the aluminum transitioned to the plastic and he thought a replacement would be $700-750. A day later he called to say the work was completed and I could pick it up whenever convenient...even a Saturday (today). Rode the bus back to Craig (2nd stop in Craig is conveniently, right in front of the radiator shop and was exactly on time on both trips) and paid $686.96 Thanks Dean!”

“Was in Craig Colorado for a 30 day RV stay to do some hiking, hunting, fishing and sightseeing. Well after about a week of beating around the back roads I had my tailpipe falling off my truck. Worried about being in a small town and finding somewhere to get fixed up, someone recommended Craig Auto Service. Chris fit me in the schedule and fixed me right up. Well, a couple weeks later and in a time crunch, my power steering started leaking badly and I had 5 days to get a repair done before needing to pull out to get a repair done. I went in to see Chris and he said he would do his best to get it fixed before the weekend. He looked it over and told me what the repair would cost and I left the truck. He called me a day a half later and said the truck was fixed. Whew... When I went in he said it was all fixed with no leaks and cheaper than we thought , by a LOT, because the main part wasn't bad. How many times does that happen!! Saved my trip twice and now I can drive home to Va with good steering and brakes!! Thanks so much!!”

“Had a radiator replaced on '14 Durango in Craig (Radiator Shop, couldn't be repaired-soldered) that was $600 below the quote price in Stbt Spgs a year ago at my previous favorite auto service establishment. When my favorite auto service establishment was sold (the former owner moved back east) along the surging 'pandemic induced' price increases I asked Dean at the Radiator Shop who he would recommend in Craig. He said "Chapman's, across the street".Recently had some service performed on the '18 All Track at the VW dealer in Glenwood Springs last week. The oil change alone with Castrol 5-30W synthetic plus filter was $203. Last year, the new owners at Doc's charged $235 (just the oil without labor or filter was nearly $25 a quart, before taxes. A six pack of the oil on AMZN is $70-75). While having the snow tires put on the Durango today I obtained a quote from Chapman's today. Their quote is $73.95. They also rotate tires for free on each visit and clean the inside and outside of the windows. Great people (have met Mandy and Leah), communicated with the owner, J.B. via e-mail, great service and terrific prices.”

“These guys/girl have been so good to me. I work out of Rawlings Wyoming and I still refuse to take my truck to anyone els other than them. I’ll drive to Craig to have them work on my vehicle. They stay late to get stuff done. Always done within a timely manner. Don’t make me feel like an inconvenience. Been there several times now and they NEVER disappoint. “Highly recommend this place. I was traveling alone with my kids and my car broke down. My gear cable to the transmission had broken. Nancy tracked down the part and went and picked it up before closing for me. I was driving in terrible snowy road conditions and unable to take my car out of drive. I didn't have service but she continued to call me back until she reached me. She asked if we were okay and just showed human empathy. I When I arrived they quickly got me in the garage. Danny, lowered the car he was currently working on and got my car on the lift to take a look. I explained it was my birthday trip and we were supposed to be skiing. He said he would get it done first thing in the morning. He showed me the problem and the part I needed on a diagram on the computer. Nancy not only texted me before 10am that my car was ready but she also wished me a happy birthday. I had also called Chevy because I drive a Chevy. The girl who answered the phone was rude and annoyed. When I talked to the mechanic he was aloof and could care less that my car broke down and then I was traveling alone with my kids. They did have the part in stock. When Nancy called me back and just her kindness and care made it an easy decision where to take my business. I drove straight to them.
