A small investment to this cute property would go LONG way. The mirror in the bathroom was busted. The shower handle stuck....we gave up!. The holes in the wall and door?? Should be easy fixes.

My stay here was decent considering it was just a one-night stopover during a work trip. It's notably $60-$80 cheaper than nearby hotels. However, it's important to be prepared with all the necessary IDs for yourself and any guests staying in the room with you.The carpet is showing signs of age, and the water pressure in the shower is quite weak. Unfortunately, there was no coffee in the room, so I guess they may not offer breakfast, but only coffee available in the lobby. One concern is that the exit doors appeared to be unlocked, which could potentially allow unauthorized access to the premises without a room key.

Honestly, if you can go anywhere else, do it. The rooms, bedding, and towels are just filthy. The AC may or may not work, doors and windows may or may not lock, shower may or may not run water. I don't mind old or run-down hotels, but it is not expensive to be clean.

Take your business elsewhere. This hotel does not deserve your business, spend your money elsewhere. My best friend of 20 years and her family had a house fire last night. After everything was settled the fire department recommended they stay somewhere else due to the damage to their home. They attempted to book a room at Super 8 Craig and were denied service because they were “local”. They were a family of 4, two adults and two children on a Monday night close to mid-night. Once they explained the situation the front desk staff informed them she’d rent to them if they gave her $100 cash. It’s a good thing she works nights, because with antics like that she probably has trouble sleeping with her conscience. They were denied access to a manager or owner, and ultimately denied a safe place to stay and went home to stay in their basement. I’m appalled by the lack of compassion and poor policies of this hotel. Taking advantage of a family who just experienced a traumatic event is beyond disgusting. We grew up in a small town Colorado community where “locals” take care of each other. Those values are lost at this establishment, not only do you lack hospitality. You lack compassion and kindness. Do better.

The room smelled like mold and something else, possibly someone smoking in rooms . The wifi was unstable. Room felt like it was filthy And, I was told one price online and called to confirm, but I ended up paying 40.00 than what I was originally told. This is a very slumming hotel. Another person who was staying here at the same time I was. Told me the sewage had backed up in their room, and they were not compensated nor got a new room . Don't stay here if you can avoid it.

This place sucks. Power goes out at least once a day (usually multiple times). Internet never works. The "complimentary" breakfast is coffee and a muffin. I was sick when I stayed with them so I was coughing and what not. They put a paper under my door saying they were gonna charge me for smoking in the room. There's several hotels within a stones throw away. Don't choose this one.

Ms.J and her staff are friendly, funny, and they make you feel welcome! You absolutely have to have a sense of humor when you work in hospitality. I've been extending my stay daily before I finish my move to Steamboat Springs and start my new job. I have a bout of altitude puffy face and have been sleeping nonstop. They've been nothing short of professional kind.

My ceiling collapsed on us and we booked a room here. When we arrived they gave our room away saying they don’t help locals. We couldn’t find another room and had to go back and stay in our apartment with no ceiling. I highly recommend going somewhere else to

Stayed for a recent hunting trip. First the good; it wasnt a tent or a camper, the bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure with plenty of hot water, and the TV worked perfectly. Now for the not so good; very limited breakfast, peeling paint, ceiling in the bathroom falling down, very dated, cramped for 2 people, the widow had a big gap in it that you couldn't close, (I had to go to Walmart and get some foam insulation and tape to seal it up), was much warmer after that first night. If nothing else is available this will work for a hunting trip.

The staff was great, super helpful and very attentive. The other patrons left a little to be desired and needed some manners but other than that they're nothing to complain aboutNearby activities: HuntingSafety: Other guests are a little sketchy.Walkability: Zero walk ability

My husband and I came and checked into the hotel on Monday night... We paid 269.00 for two nights.... Realized we had to book two more nights.... The lady at the front desk says if you don't have enough on your card you need a 100 cash deposit. She immediately said that I could damage the room and that was the only way she would take the payment for the Thursday night. So here we are Wed Eve and I have spent 500 and 15 dollars for 4 nights and 100 cash deposit, because she says that I could damage the room. Unbelievable!!! I have been taking trash out and cleaning everything since we have been here ... Makes me ???? ill.the front desk told me I needed 100 cash deposit because I told her I had to pay some cash and som on my card

Very outdated and poorly ran, says continental breakfast but nothing but a slim choice of oatmeal and dry packaged apple muffins..The lady with red hair that works their is sloppy and unprofessional has a few family members that are working their as well, it's like the Beverly hillbillies except the ones on t.v.. had money at least...had a much better stay at the travelers lodge up the hill, the man up there was very accommodating and helpful..I would suggest to stay at his motel instead..This by far was the worst super8 I've ever stayed...

You want a place that is clean and the price is low come to the super8 I live in Craig Colorado most of all the other motels here if you live in Craig they will not give you a room why because you are a resident of Craig Colorado to me that is discrimination the super 8 doesn't mind where you live I could see if you done damage to the motel room where you broke a rule but just because you live in Craig none of the motels but the super 8 will give you a room to sleep in you have to pay for it but otherwise this is a very nice place to stay

Drove up to this hotel and immediately canceled. Looks nothing like photos. They had torn old curtains in the rooms that you could see ftom parking lot. Looked like something you would see in a movie of a old dirty motel...front office girl was very sweet and I felt bad for her that she worked there. Not even ok for a quick 1 night stay...

Customer service was less than mediocre; the building was run-down and none too clean - but worst - the pillows and mattress need to be sanitized. The entire bed smelled like dirty bodies.
