This place was horrible. I have stayed all over the country and this was by far the worst. Dirty, run down, furniture broken, smell of stale cigarettes. Just missing the chalk outline. Sleep in your car.Safety: Smoke detectors about 25 years old and was hoping the car would not be broken into. Some type of biological experiment going on in the frig.

This is a great place to stay! Clean rooms and friendly staff. I would stay here again if I still lived in Colorado.

Got stuck in craig due to weather. This was the last motel in town with room. Yuck is all i can say. Price gouging admitted by front desk clerk. $200 for this one star motel. Next night he offered us same room for $98. I would upload a photo if i could. Avoid this one at all cost.

Gotta give it five stars for fastest internet I've ever had at a hotel. 70mb/s down and about 20mb/s up, via wifi from 2nd floor room at rear of building. Manager Suraj and staff were polite and generally helpful.

If your only option of finding a place to stay for the night is between this location or the 24-hour laundromat down the highway, the Traveler Inn is a better choice. There is no breakfast, if you read that anywhere, there isn't. Coffee does not constitute breakfast. The non-smoking rooms just mean there is no smoking behind the door that has a dead bolt you can't unlock with the room key, just the slightly broken twist knob lock below. Smelling like smoke or smoking outside of a non-smoking room doesn't make said room "smoking". If you get a running start, it will help you leap onto the beds Otherwise, I would suggest bringing a step ladder. However, be careful with leaping too hard onto the bed as the mock head board might fall fully off the wall and smack your head. The furniture is dated from the 1970s, which I don't think matters as much as the light switches that adorn the walls and serve no other purpose as they don't seem to power anything.

Booked for 2 nights for work crew. Received bad feedback from our guys about quality and cleanness of the rooms after first night staying at this place. Checked out at 9 am from the motel same day ad asked for refund for next day of booking, and it was reject by the owner. Not recommended, stay away from this place.

Downside: When I called to make a reservation was told $50/night, on arrival turned out cost was $65/night (no explanation given). Owner (or manager?) is really nice guy but accent is so heavy had hard time understanding, and emphasizing I only wanted 2 nights, not 3. Figuring out how to use the Roku vs local cable was a challenge. No courtesy coffee maker in room. One small micro bar of soap, no courtesy shampoo. Upside: Cost was far less then the usual chain hotels in area. Was able to get me a ground floor with king bed, could park truck just outside door for security. Bed was very comfortable, room was very quiet. Directly across highway from hotel is Vallartas restaurant, where the food quality and quantity are excellent (house maragaritas are great). Good microwave and refrigerator in room.

Folks are nice, room reasonably clean, outside areas need work, under the stairwells is really gross, public areas need a good pressure washing. Definitely on the low end of economy hotels. Best part of our stay was the beautiful little kitty that lives here, comes right into you room and gives you fuzzy affections.
