Romp Skis designs and builds custom skis in Crested Butte, Colorado. The team there is super friendly and great to work with. They have lots of demos, allowing customers to try a bunch of different options before deciding. The skis they build are terrific, solid products. Reviewers describe them as incredibly fun, well-rounded, playful, and maneuverable tanks that can plow through anything. The skis are fun to carve, easy to throw around in trees and bumps, and provide a ton of fun. For some, they have become a favorite pair, with one longtime skier stating they are their favorite after decades on high-end skis. The ordering process has been described as awkward by one customer, but the overall experience supports the local community and results in skis that riders love and reach for most days.
I love my Romp Skis. I’m 61 and these have taken 20 years off my skiing. The team at Romp are great to work with. Have lots of demos and frankly it feels good keeping my money in the local community.
