The Brass Ass is a historic casino located in Cripple Creek, Colorado, offering a unique blend of old-school charm and modern gaming experiences. Featuring vintage décor, street lamps, a western theme, and the original Cripple Creek lighted sign, the casino provides a truly immersive atmosphere. The Brass Ass is known for its solid slot selection, catering to players who enjoy nickel and penny machines across a wide range of denominations. Table games, such as blackjack and roulette, are also available, though the experience can vary depending on the dealer. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, and the service at the bar and food counter is quick and efficient. One of the standout features of The Brass Ass is its smoke-free environment, making the overall atmosphere more comfortable for visitors. While it doesn't have a hotel directly connected, it is part of the Triple Crown group, with nearby lodging options at Midnight Rose or McGill's. Reviewers have praised the casino's vintage charm, the quality of the table games, and the friendly staff. However, some have noted issues with the craps table closing early on weekdays and the loss of a popular diner. Love this casino! The Miners Pick is so good, and Brandy is a lifesaver! Great food, great people, a good mix if old and new machines, and we were reasonably lucky.

They claim the best tables in town and they definitely were the highlight of our trip to Cripple Creek. Should have got a T-shirt, but now I have a great excuse to come back.
