After 7-10 phone calls, texts, and emails giving us a "friendly reminder" to pay our bill before five "or else;" I finally had to move some money and just make it happen. I called Dacono City Hall at 4:21 pm and had to leave a voice-mail with my info and a call back number. I called back around 4:50pm. This time a very rude lady answered almost immediately. I said I need to pay a bill. "Did you try and pay online?!?," was her snide response. I responded that I was told to call. She murmured "Well, I'll have to get all the information." I barely heard as she seemed to be talking to someone else in the room. "Can I have the name and account number?!?" I give it to her. "I'll have to put in all the information!" Now I'm on hold. After a few minutes... "Do you have your card payment ready?!" I did; give it to her. "The payment has been posted, would you like a confirmation number?!" After getting the confirmation number she just said, "Thank you, goodbye!" I called back to get her name, and to tell her she was very rude. She only gave me "Lisa." Who knows if that's her real name, but she had a very recognizable and easily identifiable accent. I felt judged first of all. But, I also felt that she was irritated that someone had the "audacity" to call her place of business and make her work after 4pm. Times are too difficult these days to have to deal with rude City employees when you're just trying to pay a bill. I will be going in, in person but I wanted people to know online at least to avoid irritated and "can't be bothered," Lisa.EDIT: I intended to pay the minimum amount due. But, in her haste to get off the phone and not do her job; she missed that and charged me the full amount. I had an overcharge directly because of her.

I had to get a business permit here and Ashley, the nice lady working at the front desk was super helpful. I wish more employees were as helpful in permit offices. Thanks for your help and patience with me, Ashley.

Dacono. Hometown of Dac Shepard, and where they invented Thumb Dacs.At the very North End of Colorado, not too far from the mountains, you will find this town with only three thousand people living here. It's a little town with a big water tower (and that's what I remember about it from my 2 visits here for roughly 2 days each). I'd say it's a little bit too far away from the mountains to really see them clearly, more of a silhouette on the horizon. It's been a settlement since 1900 or so. It's a cute little town and I have a friend that lives here, which is why I usually come back here.

I've lived here my whole life never had a problem receiving my bills on time from them till they got this new staff this city is going down hill and it's sad that you just received your bill yesterday and the next it's turned off. And when you ask all you get is idk you should call the office to see what your bill is? It's not my responsibility to do your damn jobs to make sure people get there bills! This city is very very irresponsible!
