We walked in Sunday morning unaware that we needed reservations for brunch. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and managed to get us seated at a table when she wouldn't have had to. We had the southern benedict and the salmon flatbread. Both brunch plates were perfection. I'm a local and regularly eat here for lunch during the week. The maple-glazed chicken sandwich is a must-try! A meal here might cost a dollar or two more than what you can find down the street, but it is worth every penny every time.

Really Nice to see how the Old Property restored and been maintained. I’ve did booking on the go.. as Hour before I checked in and I felt assured as it’s a small city/town and been able to get some room very last minute - was a blessing. Melissa the Manager was very kind and helpful lady on the call and gave all the details. I appreciate your help. I had a Queen Room - staging lady Susan from History. Was smaller room than most regular Hotels. Decent overall and clean.

Fine hotel. No more croissants due to COVID’s impact years ago. Okay, that was the bell on the door. So. Yup another room. No more fine touches. So that is gone. Just like the rest. Full pay no benefits. Shame. Okay, so room is fine. And…….food. No. The food truck or dinner in hotel was satisfactory, kinda icky. So….where is the raspberry jam and croissant? No. No for you and I.Nothing more.

The restaurant is a laid-back fine dining, which was delicious. We had the steak as well as the scallop dishes. We are already planning on going back again. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable of the hotel's rich history.Rooms: Updated just over a decade ago, they are in great condition.Noteworthy details: It is a historic hotel from 1874. A must see for history buffs.

A quaint place to hang your hat for a night or two. I went in a work trip with 3 other people and we reserved 4 rooms. The reservation process was simple. Check in was nice-the front desk clerk was animated, gave great information, and was helpful. We made dinner reservations right away and she accommodated our needs. Dinner was great and our party of 4 had a night cap outside. The owner is a sommelier and they advertised Wine Down Wednesday!I realized I had locked my key in my room and there was some confusion about getting a new one issued. Check out was simple as well. The room was nicely appointed. I could not figure out how to open the blinds and would have liked to see the view outside. I faced the front yard street. One coworker faced the courtyard and had a nice view. Another had the Susan B Anthony room and enjoyed the history. Overall a nice place to stay.

This historic hotel is gorgeous and the picture on the website do not do it justice. Our room was spacious, clean, and just beautiful. We had dinner in their charming courtyard from the food truck they have out back. Since we had our kids with us, it was more casual than the restaurant and a perfect place for the kids to move around. Overall, this hotel was a nice, unexpected find.

I guess there are 20 rooms upstairs at $149/night. I didn't see them, didn't stay there, only dined in the dining room.Old West brick and wood construction from the 1870s and 80s. Dining room is a showcase for modern and a couple old oil paintings for sale, which are done by talented artists, such as Charles Ewing. My Elk Medallions with microgreens and coulis was tasty. My friend's Flatiron steak was also good. Both came with carrots and snap peas - no baked potatoes here, only mashed potatoes described as "puree".Mandarin Orange Sorbet for dessert was a great palate cleanser.Chef came out of kitchen to ask a nearby table how everything was that night, ignored us, so I guess being old and white comes with privilege I can't enjoy. We had to ask for water, to which our waitress made an excuse for the water girl being unavailable. It's good to see that tatted, pink haired people can find employment at such places.

A very nice hotel full of lots of history and love. Tim Yoder (the owner, I believe?) checked us in and is absolutely wonderful at customer service. He's got stories and is definitely worth chatting with if you have the timeRooms: A good size while still offering that quaint, old timey feelNearby activities: Great place during covered wagon days and easy access to many of Del Nortes attractionsWalkability: You can easily walk all of mainstreet Del Norte from hereFood & drinks: The 1847 distillery nearby makes some great liquor

Staying at the Windsor was a real treat. This beautiful historic hotel is right in the center of town and is in walking distance to everything. If you're going through DelNorte Colorado is a great place to stay!
