Drove all the way up from Co Springs for a car and on the following day arranged a pre purchase inspection for it. After multiple calls with Boris and 30 minutes before my mechanic was due he called to say he’d sold the car. He only mentioned a nonrefundable deposit was possible after the fact… never offered the option upfront. He had told me the previous day he rarely services any of the cars he sells (this car was an exception bc he was originally going to gift it to someone), so he either bailed fearing the inspection would likely fail or used my interest to close another buyer. Typical used car salesman: shady and inconsiderate of others.

A plus auto sales was a decent experience, I recently purchased a 2006 Honda civic from him on Monday. Boris communicated very highly of the vehicle over the phone leading up to Monday to come test drive the car, it ran great and resulted in me buying the car. Unfortunately, 2 days later the vehicle was struggling to start and was unsure why when he ensured me the car was in great condition mechanically, but because of its age the outside of the car wasn’t in the best shape. I believed him until today when the car wouldn’t start and I shot him a txt just to inform him, but also see if he had any clue as to why and if there was anything wrong with the car while it was under his dealership.
He than called me and informed me that the vehicle does need a new battery, and he failed to tell me that he had to jump it in his garage prior to bringing it to the front of the dealership for me to test drive.
The buying experience was great upon this point, I feel like Boris definitely should’ve informed me about the battery being bad or weak, especially after all the paperwork was signed.
If you buy a vehicle from here, just be prepared to spend an extra $200+ for a new battery on top of your purchase price of your new car.
