Came from out of town and wanted to check out the local sewing shops. I need thread in a particular color but my main goal was to just look around. Not even in the door three minutes an the woman who came up to me told me to go to Joanns or Michael's because I don't want cotton thread. 1) I know what I want. I need cotton thread for my tie dye business. You don't have to patronize me. 2) Telling a potential customer to go shop at a corporate big box store instead of helping them find their need at your shop seems bad for business.

The people that work here are so, so kind. When I first walked in, they were helping a lady who was starting one of her first big projects. They guided her through every step, explained how to do specific stitches she was confused about, and made sure she had everything she needed to confidently start what sounded like a pretty intimidating project. Places like this are few and far between.

What a lovely store devoted to stitching! It's so hard to find an embroidery/cross-stitch store. Every other store is a fabric store with a wall for cross-stitch/embroidery. There were patterns everywhere to fit most tastes. And the specialty threads! Everywhere! The ladies working there were very knowledgeable and helpful. If you had a list, they would make a copy and help you find what was needed and check off on what was found. It was any stitcher's Paradise! It's a bit of a drive for me, but well worth the traffic.

I visited A Stitching Shop while on vacation in Colorado and had an amazing experience. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful and I’m already planning to return in the future. I am also telling all my friends to visit when they’re in the area.

I have purchased from A Stitching Shop on more occasions than I can count. I use this wonderful shop for class projects - thread kits, canvases, etc. and for my own personal stitching needs. The service is impeccable. The attitude always kind and friendly. They go the extra mile in every customer service situation. All orders I receive are absolutely correct and shipped in a timely fashion. The owner is willing to order if she doesn’t have it in stock, and that is very rare — this shops carries most everything you can think of. I highly recommend purchasing from this wonderful needlepoint/cross stitch shop!

I had a horrible experience going to this shop, I wanted to learn how to do needle point and asked Cindy (one of the employees) to help me and to guide me into what I needed to buy, she was very passive aggressive and was trying to get me to buy a lot of other stuff that I clearly didn’t need. After a while she just left me there and acted as if a customer wasn’t a priority. I stayed there to see if I could get any help and nobody helped me, I’m very disappointed because I’ve heard great things about this place from other people. I also over heard Cindy and what I believe was the owner speaking in a very ill mannered way, I’m a hispanic person and took what they were saying in a very serious way. I would walk around and felt as if I was being watched, I did ask to use the restroom and was denied access. So if you ever want to come to this store expect to find it very nasty, and horrible customer service. Even the dollar store is better than this place in many different ways, the older employees were very passive aggressive. I’m very disappointed. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

I had an amazing experience here! Every single staff member was eager to help. They have an astounding selection of fibers and accessories, lots of things I had never seen anywhere in store before. I would recommend this store to anyone.

All I can say is W O W.
Walking in for the first time I knew I was in trouble! Seeing the wall of bins full of beautiful threads on the right and then throughout was an incredible first impression.
I was pleased to see such a wide range of stitching on offer. I spent quite a lot of time going through ALL of the counted canvas patterns after seeing a sample I'd had my eye on for some time. Of course, I happily spent my allowance taking several home.
I deeply appreciate how well organized everything in the store is. All the samples are labelled with where the pattern lives making it super easy to find it if you want to take it home. The samples themselves were stunning and great at twisting my rubber arm into getting the pattern!
I barely touched the nearly 200 bins full of cross stitch patterns as I knew that could easily take several days and my credit card might have melted LOL.
