I had a mostly positive experience that was messed up by the action of one store worker. The women working at the front were kind and helpful. Had a great conversation about growing your own food with the cashier. The store had what I needed. But as I went to shop for seeds, one of the gentlemen who works at the store came to my aisle and stood a few feet away. He never asked if I needed any help or tried to start a conversation. He stood there leaning against what I thought was a counter. I kept turning to him to acknowledge his presence and he soon walked away to join his other co-workers who were up front near the door. I don’t think anyone should feel like they’re being watched and I hope those who work there assume that customers are coming in with good intentions.
Looking at another review for this store, it looks like this isn’t the first time a customer has had an issue with being watched/followed. I won’t be coming back to the store to shop again.

Helpful staff helped me find what I needed. You can buy nuts and bolts and washers individually instead of a big pack at the big stores that you will never use

Went into this ace hardware store recently and it was an absolutely horrible experience. I came into the store looking for one simple thing that their website showed they had in store. The extremely rude and weird cashier felt it would be better to yell at me that they didn’t have the item I was looking for when they did in fact have it and then to make things even more discriminatory, she was reporting my every move over a radio, even after i paid as well. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this store. Maybe treat customers with actual respect instead of being weird racists.

This store used 2 b 1 of my favorite places. But since the experience I had the other day, no more. An woman employee followed me around the store assuming I was going to steal something & when I confronted her & asked her why she was following me, if she thought I was going to steal she said "yes" I couldn't believe it I was so insulted I had to leave. I cannot believe stores are ok with their employees treating their patrons like this. Shame on you ace hardware store.

Ace IS the place with the friendly hardware folks! Josh helped me as soon as I walked in, gave a recommendation based on my picture and I was in and out in less than 5min. Hannah was very kind to me while she quickly rang up my items. Great store! Great customer service!
