This owner was very rude. I asked nicely to bring my bicycle inside his store. I was afraid it would get stolen. I asked to look for a certain kind of comics. He directed me to them. He seemed to increase the price from what was clearly marked on the package. 2:50. To 6 dollars. I stoped in randomly beacuse I thought the store was cool. I didn’t really have to much room for the comics and I just was looking. I declined to purchase the items. He then said I just came in for nothing. Told me I was fake nice and started to flip me off. He also told me to grow up. I never leave reviews but I find myself in a state of shock. Anyway good luck here. Not sure what I did wrong. Definitely not the customer service I was expecting.

Drove well over an hour to check this store out. Went within posted hours and no one was there… went to lunch to see if they would show up after. When I went back they had a sign saying that they would be back in a few minutes and it was signed “Ray” . I waited in front of the store for almost an hour and no one showed up. They don’t answer the phone either. Thanks a lot, Ray!!!

Great selection! Owner seems to need help expanding his business, could be a good opportunity for a business student etc. Comic books could be sold online or have events there like magic night? Good luck, local comic bookstore.

Same experience as seemingly everyone else-- the owner aggressively asked us if we needed anything, and when we said we were browsing, he said he was closing up. As we paused, wondering why he'd close at 2:25 pm, he loudly said "BYE." Cool, bye.

The owner was very rude a certainly very unpleasant. As a colored twenty year old that looks for comics with my older brother I felt very uncomfortable as I was walking around this shop, I was being watched, but yet not helped out once. Until finally I was told to “leave” because they “we’re closing for the day” (but on their website it says they close at 5:00. We came at 3:00). To think that I was going to spend some money in there but to walk out feeling not just hate crimed but disappointed that someone like them can own a shop such as that one. Would not recommend. DEFINITELY don’t take your kids there

Very rude and acted like us being there was a inconvenience. Acted really weird for being a public business. Told us to leave flat out for no reason other than he was closing but he stayed open after asking us to leave. Bad vibes don't waist your time

His name was Jeff, but he wouldn't confirm if he was the owner; he wanted a $10 looking fee to check things out? This is the first I've heard of a store charging a fee. This isn't a museum. I first thought that he was joking when he said he charged a looking fee. However, I soon realized he was serious. The most awful comic store I've ever been to, and I only stayed inside for 30 seconds.

I have never been treated so rudely. Grumpy old man took one look at me and said I looked like I was "just browsing" and they'd "had a lot of browsers" and wouldn't let me in, then shouted at me to "go to city park you can walk around all you want there" as I was walking away. I actually do have a collection I was looking to find more of, but not from this guy. I don't know if he expects people to already know the name and serial number of the comic they want prior to going to the store but seriously dude, get a life.

Had a great experience with ray I love the stories he tells I love how he can talk all day about comics and I love how expansive his collection is I do get the bad reviews but I understand why he’s like that, the shop is in a bad spot financially and he’s stressed out about it and I get it I hope it gets better for him also side note I get why it’s upsetting to be turned away at the door but I get that he’s only interested in customers who know what they want also the weird hours are annoying but again struggling to keep the store open tends to cause stuff like that

Guy in the store was extraordinarily unfriendly, made a scene when we left without buying anything. Seemed generally annoyed we came in in the first place.

This guy sucks! My partner and I walked over to the bubble tea shop next door. We saw the comic shop and decided to pop in. He asked if we were there to buy. I said maybe if I find something I like. He did not like that answer. We decided to leave; I thought they must have been about to close. Nope not even close! This is the type of comic shop that scares newcomers off the hobby. He's somehow worse than the comic book guy from the Simpsons.

Don't go to this store!!! The inventory is awful and the owner is insane!I walked in and the owner immediately said 'what are you looking for?" I said I'm from out of town and just wanted to look at what's new. He said he was "closing soon" even though it was 1pm. After I walked around for 2 minutes and was looking at Spiderman comics he came up to me and said "I'm closing up so you need to go. Have fun wandering around somewhere else." I read the reviews and he tells everyone the same exact thing!

Went in not sure what we'd experience based on the reviews. The owner let us shop workout any troubles. As we paid, we had a long conversation with him. He was very nice, intelligent, and generous. I'll go there again.

Wish I could select negative stars.Walked in 3 hours before close and said hello to the only person in the store (so obviously the store worker). Told him I was from out of town and wanted to browse the back catalog. He immediately said he had to close soon and go to the bank… so I picked up a few issues I knew I wanted and went to check out. He said he didn’t have time to price them and wouldn’t sell them…After reading all these reviews it’s obvious he was lying. The owner needs to ask himself “ why do I own a shop if I won’t let people shop?” There is something more going on here. Did e must have inherited money or something. How can someone keep a store open when you proactively keep out people hoping to give you money?!
