I had such a wonderful experience here! The booking process was super easy, the space was so cute, and my haircut turned out looking amazing! Kat is incredibly kind, supportive, attentive, and thorough! She asks thoughtful questions and walks you through options to target your hair health goals. Her plants are cute and she offers a beverage to enjoy with your session! She's lovely and I highly recommend seeing her for your hair care needs! :)

I’ve been seeing Kat consistently for about 4 years now. My hair has never been more healthy and most importantly to me, it’s low maintenance. I can wash and go and my hair looks beautiful! In the past I haven't cared much about haircuts, they were just a quick chore. Going to Ametrine is different—my cut was great, but beyond that, the time spent at Ametrine was lovely. Kat is so thoughtful and kind, and tapped in to what's going on in the world outside of the salon.

Kat is beyond amazing. The care and thought that she puts into each person's experience is unparalleled. She will ask you several questions to make sure she is giving you exactly what you want and has great suggestions. Her salon has a great atmosphere, and the color is the best I've ever had!

This was more than a haircut for me. It was a full-on life glow up.
Context: I have baby-fine hair and have experienced serious hair loss since moving to Denver. Kat made me feel at ease immediately and spent our time together reassuring me that hope is not lost. W/her help I feel confident that i can get my hair health back on track. (Added bonus: we were the only ones in her shop so I felt extra secure not being on display to a salon full of gorgeous-hair headed clients.)
Life glow up context: she also took the time to inspect my scalp and take photos of all my moles and freckles (lol). I showed my dermatologist and within 24 hours have had two moles biopsied for cancer. Kat may have literally saved my life.
Secondary: she also took the time to help me find a trustworthy mechanic by texting another client who has the same make/model as me. Within 48 hours my dead car was in and out of the shop, running like a champ.
I can’t recommend Kat enough. She has truly enhanced my time here in Denver so far beyond just hair.

Kat has been cutting my hair for 3+ years now and she’s always done such a great job. In addition to her excellent haircuts, I love all of the additional knowledge Kat provides on taking care of your hair in Colorado given the dry air, the minerals in the water, etc. I’ve learned more from Kat than anyone else who has cut my hair in the past. Kat is great! Very nice and knows her hair. I've gotten a variety of cuts and styles, and she knocks it out of the park every time. I appreciate the use of cruelty free / vegan products that smell great. Highly recommend!

Kat is an amazing hairstylist! She truly takes into account my preferences and my routine and I always feel heard during my appointments. She is also an awesome person and we have great conversations while I'm in her chair. I've only been getting cuts but I will for sure be going to her for color when I decide to do it.
