Bank gave us the runaround regarding my deceased father in laws account. Made us jump through hoops for 2 months, reassuring us each time that we would be able to receive a disbursement of funds. Then they illegally opened an Estate account for him and took all the money in his account. Don't bank here! I've already filed a complaint with the BBB.

The building is called Academy Bank, but it is essentially the same as Armed Forces bank (same parent company)

Customer beware: Do NOT bank with them. They will allow fraud on your account and not lift a finger to correct the problem I have had so many problems with them, from them taking overdraft fees out of my account when I opted out of overdrafting, they continued to give me wrong and false information when I would call the customer service line, then when I went into the bank I would get a different story. DO NOT trust them with your money !!! I have filed a complaint with the Federal Reserve..... :(

Academy is apparently, as of today, experiencing a network wide "software application update" which has caused many accounts to be debited/shorted funds. We had ONE charge to a gas station removed from our account 20 times, which shorted our balance to greatly, that we cannot pay our rent. I'm livid. They removed the evidence that the account had been overcharged, at least as far as their website shows when we try to go into our account, yet they still have not replaced the mis-depleted funds to what should be our true balance. I was told by one of their rep.'s that this is not the first time this has happened.
