They just lost a 30 year customer. I went to buy some reloading powder today and stood in front of the powder cabinet for 20 minutes. I tried to get someones attention but couldn't. It seems you have to make a reservation to be served. The powder I needed was leterally 6 inches in front of me behind the glass. I finally got one guys attention and asked, do i need a reservation to buy powder and right in front of me he when into an explanation as to why I need a reservation. In less time than he spent explaining he could have simply handed me the powder and I would have been off to checkout. I told him, just hand me that pound of powder and I'll be on my way.
Nope, I had to make a reservation. Also in my basket today was $220.00 worth of .308 rounds and another $220.00 worth of 6.5 creedmoor. Those were left in the cart, maybe they will have the time to put them back on the shelf. I've never gone to customer service to complain in my life but I did today and the guy was really not interested just nodding his head.
I am an avid shooter and reloader and I live 15 minutes from my gun club which I spend a lot of time at. I've been a regular at BPS like I said, 30 years. No longer, I'll go out of my way to go to Scheels, Sportsmans Warehouse and Murdochs and when I need to, pay extra to order from Midway.

First time to the Denver Colorado BPS. First, the prices are ridiculously high. Second, a 17% sales tax. You’ve heard of Amazon, right? It’s no wonder the place is practically vacant on a Saturday afternoon. Sorry, if I can get something cheaper, that’s just good business sense for my family. PLUS, I not paying the 17% for Denver’s liberal world view.

Literally couldn’t find anything. No employee to help. Still couldn’t find what I needed when asked an employee. Would never recommend going here.

Geared towards the high end people now I guess most prices are higher and they no longer have reasonable priced sunglasses. This place has gone downhill on pricing and customer service. The only person who acknowledged me was a guy trying to sell a extremely expensive travel package (didn't work for BPS)
