Just had a very bad experience with their customer service that almost left me in tears because of how rude the woman was. My account was negative and I needed help fixing it after I deposited cash to make it positive, it wasn't showing on my end that it was fixed so I called to make sure it was. Lady told me could take a few hours or 3 days which is fine but then she said this *If you knew your account was low on funds you should've deposited money earlier in the week* very snarky and rude. How am I supposed to know when my account will go negative? And times are tough right now, not everyone has access to money whenever they want so if that were an option I would've done it :( so thanks for making me feel worse than I already do BBVA...I will be closing my account soon, very unprofessional

Beware of their atm. We went to withdrawal cash after hours and the card reader had a huge gap in between the slot that you put your card in. Our card fell down into the atm and when I called 2 days later on my day off to try to retrieve it, that told me they had shredded it because it wasn't a BBVA debit card. There was no warning posted about this. So frustrating.

Worst experience ever with this bank. They promise you things to get you to sign up, then customer service is non-existent once they have you as a customer. It is a sad way of doing business and it's no wonder they have so many bad reviews. And if you are ever connected with a woman named Karen Coalson, run fast. She's a wolf in sheep's clothing. I'll be switching banks ASAP.
