Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag is a premier indoor rock climbing facility serving the Northeast Denver and North Aurora areas. The center offers a wide range of climbing experiences, catering to beginners (first-time climbers) as well as expert-level climbers (up to 5.13 Lead and V10 Bouldering). With 11 auto-belay stations and a diverse range of terrain (from 5.easy to 5.12), Übergrippen provides ample opportunities for climbers of all skill levels to challenge themselves and improve their skills. In addition to the climbing walls, the center also offers over 25 weekly yoga and fitness classes, as well as personal training services. Übergrippen is praised for its exceptional staff, who are consistently described as incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff are always willing to provide guidance and advice, whether it's tips on navigating a tricky route or recommendations on climbing equipment. The facility itself is described as gorgeous, with dynamic and challenging routes. While the lack of air conditioning can be an issue during the summer months, the overall atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, attracting a diverse community of climbers, including many CU Anschutz and CU Health students and employees. Übergrippen offers a range of services, including group events, birthday parties, corporate events, and scout activities, as well as learning opportunities through group and private instruction. The center's student discount also makes it an affordable option for climbers on a budget.
